When they’re finished renovating the property, it would be nice if management would include complementary donuts and coffee, or a variety of bakery goods and coffee, in the morning for guests to enjoy.

Great location. Close to everything. Property is currently being renovated. I got to stay in one of the renovated rooms. It was so nice to stay in a room with all new flooring and curtains. The bathroom had also been renovated and had all brand new fixtures. Clean and comfortable. I stayed one night for an event in town. Wish I’d had a little more time to spend in Santa Barbara.

Check-in: unwelcoming & not particularly helpful, noisy freezer made it very difficult to understand what was being said. We arrived at 14:50, a little early for the official 15:00 check-in & were told that the room allocated for us was still occupied which made no sense if checkout is 11:00. Poor quality pillows & poor soundproofing made it impossible to get a good night's sleep. The people next door were not particularly loud but we could hear all their conversations & snoring during the night.

The room was pretty basic, and the exterior of the motel isn't terribly attractive, but we kind of expected that at this price point. One suggestion - I think they just renovated the wing we stayed in, but when the beds are replaced again at some stage, beds without the metal surround underneath would be a better option. Every time you walk up to the bed and your foot even touches that metal surround, it sounds like you're being voted off the Gong Show. It's loud! We could even hear it from the neighboring rooms.

The guy at the front desk was really nice and very helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We liked that there was no carpet in the room. The noise wasn't too bad and with the white noise app on our phone, it wasn't an issue. The location is great!

The TV in room 108 needs to be replaced (picture is too dark); The parking lot stops (white) are not spaced far enough apart (or evenly) enough to allow a power wheelchair to get to the room. The shower head is partially blocked and the hot water (for shower) and water pressure needs to be increased.

Somewhat lacking in amenities - no refrigerator or microwave. Our room needed some maintenance - broken toilet seat, broken window (could not open or close it), TV remote did not work. The metal bed box frame literally had a screw (or several) loose so that any move during the night caused a metal clang / rattle loud enough to awaken us. Not a restful night.

Good location just a few blocks from State Street restaurants. Nice thick towels. Upgraded bathroom and floors.

It would've been better to have a fridge and a microwave at the room, but it was ok.

The room was very clean and spacious. The location was excelent, very close to restaurants and stores. The bathroom was nice and clean too. There's a coffee machine at the room, and although it didn't have a fridge and a microwave, we were allowed to use the ones at the lobby. We just stayed one night, but we liked the in very much.

Was a bit noisy being by a busy road. The walls are a little thin.

The hotel was a stopover for our road trip. We just slept there and were gone through the day. Suited our purpose. Convenient, clean. Was surprised how small the room were, but it's an older hotel. The price was right.
