How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I missed the breakfast. There were issues with the room keys not functioning. The one bed in our room seemed well used & sagging. The room appeared to need some maintenance. The desk was broken & the sink faucet loose.
Location was good. The room was affordable & adequately clean. Appreciated the fridge & microwave. The staff was very helpful. Good TV channels.

Room was a little dirty and there was no soap at all. I had to call room service. There was no complimentary breakfast like advertised. But then again, judging by the cleanliness of the room, who knows if i'd feel safe eating it.

That we booked two rooms for 2 and 3 nights because my husband and his Father were going to the races and we have the pool. But, the po wasn’t open it was closed… was full of water but looked like it needed a good cleaning and I would have choose another place to stay if we would have been informed we couldn’t utilize the pool.

I booked two rooms 1 for 3 days and the other for 2 days especially because of the pool and then when I checked in found out their pool wasn’t able to utilize. Pool was still filial of water but looked Unmaintained. (Dirty) . Also pillow were so flat … very uno. When asked if they had more they said no.was there 3 days house keeping never asked did we need anything or even offer us any anything. We had to go to desk for toilet paper etc.

Busy location near main road and restaurants. Some drunken and yelling guests.

Parking was the pits when I got back that evening..i.had to ask the lady at the desk what to do and she told me to park In her spot because she didn't use her car thst night other wise I don't know what I would have done
I didn't stay for breakfast as I needed to get on the road and get home. The bed was very comfortable and it's one of the best handicapped bathrooms I have ever had.

The hallway had a slite smell of cigarette smoking. I didn't like it other than that it was ok

Room was OK. Hair on some of the blankets and could hear everything through the walls (man throwing up multiple times in room next door). The lady at the front desk was very kind. The cleanliness of the bathroom surprised us. The facility itself is run down BUT the room was Okay.

It was very old and I believe it was dingy. There was not a functioning fitness center. No breakfast was offered.
The location was great. Easy in and out. Conveniently located close to several restaurants that I could walk to.

Breakfast was listed as included however, there was a printed sign saying due to covid and social distancing it was unavailable. Our refrigerator had to be turned on by a switch and wobbled in the stand. We spent some time trying to figure out where the cord was for the fridge as it was vital to our stay for some personal medical items to be refrigerated.
Staff was friendly and helpful.

Room wasn't ready which I can understand because they were short staffed. No discount offered. Rooms were a little overpriced. Actual room was clean. Could always use a little updating. The hallways were a little rough looking. a little painting and sweeping could help that. Vending machine was not working. and no breakfast.
