How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We were very pleased with our accommodations!
The room was cozy and exceptionally clean! The bed was very comfortable providing a good night’s sleep. Also the location was quiet and peaceful. The staff was very friendly.

Mouse in lobby, light out in bathroom over sink, tv remote didn't work efficiently - had to use button on TV to turn on/off.
Beds good, refig & microwave useful, location for our purpose in Estes Park - ideal. Staff located me an iron to press wedding attire.

Alarm clock was broke, room smelled musty. Pricey for what I got. Took way to long to check in, the computer was unplugged then had to reboot, I think i stood there for 25 min.

We needed to be in Rocky Mountain National Park before they started serving continental breakfast, so can’t comment on that.
Exceptional value for Estes Park in peak season, kids loved the pool and hot tub in the evenings after hiking. Really appreciated the kitchen in the room for prepping breakfasts and lunches. Staff was very friendly.

The continental breakfast wasn't very good. The room locks were a bit odd in that the door didn't automatically lock when it closed. It wasn't defective, just not what I've seen on most hotel rooms. Price was pretty high for what you got. It was high season in Estes Park so that might be what should be expected.
The room was clean and comfortable. Kind of retro. Beds were good and the tolietries were better than usual. Staff was nice and addressed our questions and needs quickly and pleasantly.

Old school motel in a great location. Not a luxurious hotel, but if you want to spend all your time in RMNP and just have a place to crash, this place is great.

Services can be improvised.
Property is at perfect location, just a mile to Estes Park downtown. Can plan to hang around the downtown life. Estes park is a beautiful city. Even the Rocky Mountains entrance is 2miles away from the stay.

Lasting strange smell inside . Poor breakfast,the lady made as feel as intruders when we showed up at 8am ,she wasn’t ready !

Quaint, spacious room. Comfortable bedding. Great location near entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Only at hotel one night and arrived late evening. Reception was nice and helpful. Would stay there again.

Nothing they can do about the fact that you are fairly close to a road so there is some road noise. However, turning on the fan in the ac/heat unit completely blocks it out.
This is a decent little motel with exceptionally nice people. It's simple, clean, and safe. You can get a basic coffee and pastry breakfast in the office. The bed was comfy and there was a pull-out and a small table with chairs in our room as well -- in addition to the fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. It's not fancy. It's a motel where you can park in front of the door to your room. Again, really nice people running the place and just a 5-min or so drive from downtown Estes Park. Just far enough from downtown that you are not dealing with the awful traffic that is there.

The bathroom is extremely small ESPECIALLY the shower. You can barely move in there. Looks like it’s a 2x2 shower. Overall pretty clean and does the job though. Bed was a little hard but like I said, it does the job :)
Very clean room, well laid out, came with a microwave, coffee maker and a mini fridge. The layout was great, AC and heat work AMAZING. Felt very comfortable and the area it is in was PERFECT! It’s not even a 5 minute drive from the strip in Estes. Friendly staff and willing to accommodate.

I wish there had been a more updated playground besides the few swings. I did see a tunnel so they might be building one soon. The key was a little hard to use on a few occasions.
Loved the location, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast selection and comfortable beds!
