Richard and Jane were incredibly welcoming and provided great suggestion whilst also taking into account our preferences and number of days stay. The breakfast options were very helpful to plan for the different day trips (to-go bag or stay in for delicious home cooked hot breakfast). The B&B was clean and has good facilities. We would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here.

Jane & Richard have created a simply wonderful place to stay in the Sierra hills that is so comfortable and welcoming, unlike anywhere we have stayed before. From a casual chat on arrival to discovering the beauty and cleanliness of our ensuite room, we were taken aback by how thoughtful and attentive our hosts were to make every element of our stay as enjoyable as possible. A great location to be based in when visiting Yosemite Valley and the surrounding area, and the to-go breakfast was ideal for the early morning starts. Couldn't recommend a stay here more, and hope we can return sometime soon.

All rooms are upstairs.

Each day we received a breakfast to go so we could leave early for Yosemite. We were given the option to eat in the dining room as well. We had a well-decorated, comfortable room with views and a private balcony. Sierra Trails Inn is located on a wooded hillside, far from noisy distraction and it boasts secluded comfort. Beside the lovely accommodation, the hosts gave us tips on what to see in Yosemite, the best route to take and travel time to make the most of each day. Jane and Richard made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. I highly recommend this Inn.

Good communication before, during the stay and after Jane and Richard welcomed us very well. They were so kind to us and gave us plenty of good advice to take the most of our trip to Yosemite The breakfast to go ! Practical and fullfilling The room was very clean Bed was very comfortable Could enjoy a little (didn't have enough time) the exterior : the hummingbirds, the stargazing, sunset... Quiet place to have a good rest

It’s an absolute gem. Pictures on the website do not do justice - the rooms are furnished with exquisite taste. The house is actually in the forest. You may wake up to the sight of roes having a sip of water from the pond under your window. It’s per definition the island of peace.

It was a little difficult to locate the first time. Maps told us it was on the left when it was actually on the right.

A to go breakfast was ready so we could get an early start on our way to Yosemite. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio and looking at the stars, it was a clear night and the stars were amazing! The hosts provided very helpful suggestions for visiting Yosemite.

I enjoyed everything: the beautiful room, so warm and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable, the bed linen smelled so good! The bathroom is spacious and the shower was super. I loved the balcony where you can sit, relax and enjoy the nice views. Breakfast was awesome. Jane and Richard also make sure you have cold water you can take to the park (and they also provide these little snacks!). I received very good information on the park (where to go, when to go ...). I absolutely recommend this B&B!! It is probably the best one I have ever visited in the US!! Thank you Jane and Richard for making me feel like home!! I am wishing the two of you all the best!!

The place is a bit far from the town center, but we were aware of that - and being in a remote location has its perks.

The hosts are lovely and can provide useful information for hiking trips to Yosemite, restaurants, etc. The house is uniquely furnished, with attention to detail.

It was an hour and 20 minutes from the park entrance.

Although we would have loved being closer to Yosemite Park, the B&B was absolutely excellent!The hosts were fantastic making sure to help us with our stay at Yosemite.

Comfortable, relaxing, beautiful property. We met and enjoyed talking with several travelers from Germany. Deer and wild turkey sightings while there. Many dining choices in nearby Mariposa. Breakfasts at Sierra Trails were homemade yummy!Drive to Yosemite National Park was very pretty. Thanks for a memorable stay!
