Heating system was strange it would get hot and then it get cold and it was blowing and was blowing right on our face all night long on the bed as well as the walls seem very thin as we heard everybody upstairs bouncing around and having a big conversation otherwise everything was great

We loved it that we were able to go to the grocery store and cook our own food there with the full size stove oven and refrigerator microwave. However we only have one frying pan and one large pot so we have to deal quit making our food with limited supplies

No housecleaning during stay. Had to take dirty towels to lobby and then get cleans towels to take back to the room. Dumpsters were located behind the facility, but many people just left their trash outside of their doors instead of taking it to the dumpsters.

My daughter slept on the sofa bed, and she was miserable…it was very uncomfortable. And when we first opened the bed, the sheets looked like they hadn’t been changed after the previous guest!

Overall it really was nice. Pool was great and very clean. All staff was very helpful and kind. My biggest issue was the lingering smoke odor in our room. For a “smoke free” facility it wasn’t the case in our room. I assume it was coming from a neighboring room. We went through two large bottles of fabric and air fresheners to drown out the odor. It was a difficult time for staff as they were dealing with transitioning over to new owners. I do applaud them for professionalism throughout it all. It was a huge mess with transactions and check ins. I desperately wanted to change rooms because of the smoke odor but decided to just deal with it. There were no other rooms available and their hands were tied with many other issues due to their transition. I could also tell there had been pets in the room. No pet odor but a few spotting so of hairs here and there. Nothing major, but if you are allergic to pets/smoke these would be issues. If it weren’t for the room odor and smoking neighbors I could give this place an A+

We were approached two evenings by the same man who asked if I/we could give him a ride to get some food for his family. I felt very uncomfortable. Breakfast was disappointing as it was grab and go.

The bedrooms and bathrooms are a bit snug. You sacrifice roominess to have two bedrooms and a kitchen which is understandable. The rooms could be updated. Certain things (like the couch) were pretty worn and even had some damage. The sizable security deposit that Sonesta holds until checkout is a bummer. Its not a big enough deal to stop me from staying in the future but I imagine it would be a deal break for some.

Amanda at checkin was so kind and a great help. Sonesta is a wonderful option for families or small groups as there suites offer two bedrooms within the room. Even has a small kitchen. The rooms are comfortable and clean.
