Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesPoorly maintained, doors had scuffs on them, light switches were missing , ac knobs worn. Neighborhood has a bar on one side and a pot dispensary on the other. Didn't feel really safe. One outside screen look like someone tried to break into a room. Way overpriced.
The bed at least was comfy.

United StatesThe room was ‘tired’. It was clean, but really needed refurbishing. I was afraid to touch the a/c heating unit in case it fell apart. Fortunately, I didn’t need to use it. The bed was a queen, but the wooden platform it was sitting on was too big for the mattress. Every time you got close to the bed, you would bang your knees on the frame. Also the mattress would slip on the platform.
Staff was the main attribute. Friendly and helpful.

United StatesThe location is a drug infested area. The owner/manager clearly knows this so they in order to remain open must do business with many undesirable clientele. If they did not they would have no business, I suspect dealers and distributors may stay there as well as it would be a perfect location for their profits. There are cars that are above the price range of those who would choose such a place. Prices are high for a 1/2 star establishment. Staff was respectful and artful in their dealing with barking dogs and homeless population.
The staff appeared compassionate as I was dealing with a difficult situation. Staff understood the issue and handled it well. I'm sure this was not their first time dealing with unpleasant situations as the location and clientele lend itself to drugs and noise with much nighttime and day goings on.

United StatesSmall, old facility, trying to hang on. Parking very limited and tight quarters to move cars around. Bed is shot, bathroom needs a lot of work. Lighting is almost non-existent.

United StatesThe room was a bit dirty. The microwave and fridge was dirty. There where little critters crawling so me and my partner had to buy spray to kill those critters. The bedsheets and covers where stained and they felt a bit itchy against you bare skin. Bathroom would break if flushed a bit to hard.
The staff where great. They had excellent service and they would welcome you with a smile and a good morning something you hardly see in other hotels in other states.
