How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

My room was not used and the a/c wasn't working great. Once staff was informed, the a/c was fixed but the room was not cleaned.
Great location and staff!! Mary and James are wonderful and I look forward to seeing them during my stays....

Nothing we didn't like. Not sure if it is closer to much since we were just visiting friends and it was closer to them.
Clean and comfortable, very nice! Free breakfast was very good and staff was very friendly.

All was good , nothing to dislike
Very nice room , clean , staff was very helpful when we discovered the first room they gave us was not what I had reserved ( double suite with sofa sleeper ). They were able to switch our room and it was great !

The entrance signage at night was not visible, and we had a little trouble finding the hotel the first time. The Wi-Fi was quite weak, where we were, which was at the very end of the building.
Top notch service, rooms and common areas. The breakfast buffet was excellent and staff all helpful. The room was large and well decorated and very comfortable. Everything was very clean. Can’t say enough good things about this hotel.

Wi-Fi did not work. I got connected the first night but it was very slow. I got diconnected the next morning and was never able to connect again. The ethernet did work..
Room was very comfortable and having a kitchen was very nice. The shower was great as well.

Location was great! Room was a nice size, well equipped, quiet and comfortable. Appreciated the free laundry, right next to the workout room. That was very convenient. Plenty of parking.

The Wi-Fi was terrible. We could barely connect in our room. Probably had more to do with the location of our room more than anything but it was very annoying.
Great breakfast, pool was nice and the room was spacious.

The only negative was on the day we checked in the two front staff were not very welcoming. First they told us our room was not available until 4pm. This is very late for a check in time. Then when we asked to have late check out at noon they told us that was not possible without even making an effort to look into this. The funny thing is when we returned after 4 to check in, there was a lovely person at the front desk who, when asked about leat check-in, without hesitation, told us it was not a problem and sorted this our for us.
The room was spacious and comfortable. The Breakfast was plentiful, varied and good and included. The location was convenient. The decor was pretty and homey.

WiFi in our room on corner second floor room very poor. Inconvenient to go downstairs to pick it up but at least there were private areas downstairs in dining area and a private room off the dining area to work.

The location was perfect for us, lobby and room very nice, good breakfast, laundry, pool, gym great. Wish we knew ahead of time there is a new AA baseball stadium next door!

The bathroom and tub/shower in the two room suite was very small, with a higher price tag than the one room suites.
I stay at this hotel because I need to be near the hospital. Carly is super nice and always goes out of her way to be kind and helpful. I need the kitchen facilities, so that is super helpful, even though the hotel is a further walk from my destination than the Hilton. The pool is a nice size and I enjoy being able to sit in the lobby and read during downtime. The books and games library is a treat!

Staff was friendly. The breakfast that was included was good. Mary who gets the breakfast ready is super kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. I would recommend this hotel.
