Somewhat noisy near main road, but we were offered a room further off the road.

Staff were friendly, offered us a choice of rooms & recommended restaurants. Decor is worn -- it's like going back in time, but this is an affordable option on Lake Tahoe. Location is excellent -- can't be beat.

very spacious, 2 floor room with 3 beds. the location is so perfect, only 5 min walking distance to the King’s beach. you can even set a fire on the fireplace.

We got the unit with 3 beds. The owner was very nice helped me change to Sat night. It was a fengshui nightmare. 2 bed we're upstairs but a bit dangerous rock steps thin rail to hold onto. The downstairs bed right across from old fireplace and plus above our heads. It was a bit dusty everywhere. Not enough plus in the kitchen to plug in appliances.

Bed was a soft for me but my wife thought her side was very comfortable. We noticed a few ants around the refrigerator but the manager gave us some bug spray and that fixed the problem. We stayed 2 nights and didn’t have a further issue.

Excellent location - walking distance to King’s Beach and many restaurants. The room was clean though dated. But overall a very nice stay and good bargain compared to other options. we’d stay there again without hesitation.

Definitely an older motel that needs some remodeling but a bargain for the area. Close to the lake and ski area. Large room with two comfortable beds. Upstairs so no one was walking above us. All the usual amenities. Very personable desk clerk.

Told staff I was there to snowboard and they told me I needed to take my dog with me any time I left the room. Was not going to leave my dog in the car for hours while I snowboard.

The location is excellent. Right next to water and 15 minutes drive to Northstar. The facilities are old but clean and convenient.

We were on a budget and the room was comfortable and met all of our needs during our stay. The water pressure and hot water was great in the shower and we really appreciated the amenities like a mini fridge and microwave.

I guess the heating and the light in the bathroom could be better. And there aren't too many electrical outlets - but that's often a problerm even in newer, more posh, hotels.

This hotel isn't new - but it's half the price of others nearby. And it's quite comfortable. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are large, the beds are good, the heat works, and the cooking facilities are great. It's become a regular for me.

Loud wall heater (but worked well). Carpet needs replacement and some walls need refreshing (peeling, stained wallpaper). Large sliding glass doors as entry door not so private.

We paid for one room w/ two beds and actually got two rooms, one with two full beds and the entry room with one full size bed. There was ample closet space to hang up our ski clothes to dry and to store gear. Bathroom was updated and the overall cleanliness of the place was good. This is one of the few places on North Shore that will allow you to book one night.

It was super basic but had everything we needed. It was not as clean as I’d like. The price & location were good.

Good location, close enough to everything. The price was great. This hotel was pretty much what we expected for the price and allowing a 2 night stay over on a holiday weekend was awesome. It was a good option for a weekend ski trip, we would stay here again.

Everything was accommodating for us for our situation.

The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We had a last minute reservations due to being stranded cause of the snow storm and we had to leave our arbnb. We where lucky to get a room and the owner was very nice and care that everyone was safe.
