Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesMy room key kept on deactivating making me run downstairs to fix it and that happens when you make another new key...I was in my room someone tried to come in I heard the key swiped and I had dead bolt on so they couldn't come in and I heard the guy say she's in the room walked off I called the office that late night to please not give my key to anyone but me cuz it's under my name!

United StatesThe property looked alright int he photos. it was run down and sketchy. Had to use the night window at 7:00pm as the office was filled with boxes. I figured no lobby coffee. There was no microwave or fridge in the room so I could make my own in the am. The bed was horribly wore with a huge low spot in the middle (looked like someone lived in that spot for a year). I had to sleep on the edge of the bed. No sleep. There were burn hole in the sheets. the whole experience was not good. I think $100. is too much for this place. The woman at the front window said I was going to get a discount that would show up but it didn’t. I should have picked another motel. I would like a refund but I know I won’t get it.
