Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Puerto RicoThe worst experience of my life during a trip. They have lousy customer service. You make the reservation through booking and make the payment with all your personal information and when you arrive at the place they demand and force you to send your ID and credit card number by text to the administrator of the place, an unsafe action for personal data and they force you to sign a separate contract to send you the codes to access the place. all this on top of the process you go through with booking. They charge you $100 above the price for damages that may occur on site and do not return them in the 10 days promised. I have written for the return of the money and the manager Richard does not answer the calls or the messages. Richard the manager did not resolve any of the issues. The contract said that there could be no pets or smoking and that it would be fined from 250 to 1000, when we arrived one night in one of the rooms they were smoking marijuana, the smell was so strong that we had to leave the place for two days before our check out. Richard still not send our $100 and he don’t answer our calls and text. It was a sad experience and I don’t recommended this place.

Israel1. the owner didn’t answer our sms and we didn’t know how to reach the place, finally he answered the phone call, and left us wait outside in the rain for 30min while we were on the phone with him, I didn’t understand why. he wasn’t nice at all. 2. he charged me for 100$ before i came just in case of damage and said I’ll get it back after 10 days. i told him that when i got out and again 2 weeks later and just then he gave it back. 3. too many locks!

CanadaWe had booked a one-bedroom apartment. The description indicated that it has a kitchen and a sofa. However, we received a very small room and not a one-bedroom apartment. There was no sofa and kitchen . Also, the check in was supposed to be 6 pm however the person who is the manager let us in about 9 pm and we were literally left on the street in a very rough neighborhood. We asked for towels and soaps and there was nothing provided. The manager told us to buy soap ourselves. Worst experience ever. STAW AWAY FROM THIS SCAMMER
The only good thing about this place is that it is within walking distance from subway station.
