How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Would have liked a kettle in my room to be able to make tea. Coffee maker not suitable for tea or herbal tea making and I don't drink much coffee. Had to heat water in microwave but not as good as kettle. Also would have preferred to be able to open window a little to let air in.
Great location, good room and facilities, lovely and clean, air-conditioning. Lovely bathroom with plenty of towels. Liked that my room was refreshed often too. Also had laundry room, patio areas and fire pit. Lovely people who own the property, really friendly and caring.

Nice room, looked new. Had a kitchenette with fridge, stove. Laundry room on site to use also. Bed & towels nice quality. Walking distance to food.

No negatives to be found staying at Kanab suites.
Our room was large, clean and had modern decoration. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything you would need apart from a kettle (I'm a tea drinker) the coffee machine may have met my needs for boiling water but I didn't know how to use it. The bed was huge and comfortable! Shower was lovely and large TV to watch. Communication with the hosts was all online but we received all of the information we required. We had a great stay in Kanab!

All fine, washing machine in laundry area initially not working but some came in 10 minutes to fix it!
Breakfast not offered. Location was great for nearby restaurants.

The view from the rooms in the back was suboptimal at best. But, that wasn't why we were there.
Great location for two of the southern Utah parks, which was our reason for visiting. Accomodations were perfect for my health constraints.

There is no front desk so we couldn't ask for any information. Luckily, we arrived when the visitor's center in town was open and found out what we needed.
The location was right on the main street in Kanab. It offered free laundry facilities. The room was clean and spacious.

Everything was good except two things. We stayed 4 people in one apartment. One thing, it would be nice to have night table on both sides of the bed. Onother, it seems that the apartment is prepared for 2 people. Only two chairs for luggage and also too little places for personal items to put.
Nice, comfortable, clean apartment. Very good location.

The only thing for improvement is better electronic locks for the doors. Seemed like lots of other people had issues with the timing of them to open their doors.
Property was clean, cute vibe, and a great location!

Can’t say enough great things about this place. Hosts answer back immediately. Entry was easy. It came fully equipped with dish soap, dishes, pots pans, toaster, coffee maker. Huge plus was laundry facility for free. Traveling for a week with a family of four and only doing carry on luggage meant we had to do laundry at some point. This was a huge plus. Tons to do in kanab, walking distance to restaurants and town. Loved all the labels. Really appreciated a well organized clean place to stay w all the amenities.

I would have liked a pool but since it was cold it was really no biggie.

Nothing really.
The room was spacious and the self catering facilities adequate for a short stay. The location was close to the main part of town and within easy driving distance of several parks and attractions. Check-in was easy with a unique code which made the timing of arrival les stressful. Communication with the company was excellent.

This was such a great spot. We stayed here for 3 nights to explore the surrounding areas including Zion, Bryce, and Coral Pink Sand Dunes. Several great hikes also along the highway. Clean unit with everything you need. Highly recommend!

The TV!!! ROCU and paramount would be nice as an extra, but some of us just want cable.
The location was great. And since it was Christmas, I was glad we had a nice kitchen to cook at. We went to Zion on the 26th and it was full. Glens canyon was a nice drive and so were the sand dunes and the national monument near it.
