The room had some minor defects that needed repair, and the room keys demagnetized very easily, making us get new keys twice within the first 24 hours of our stay there. The key cards could not be kept next to other credit cards or MagSafe phone cases. Not a huge deal though, as the staff promptly replaced them as soon as we went to the front desk.

I liked the location; close to the freeway, and close to downtown Davis with lots of good eats within walking distance. The rooms were impeccably clean, which I appreciated very much. The a/c unit was very efficient which was nice because it was hot when we visited. My favorite part was the EV charger available on the property! It was so nice that we could have a full battery to start our very long journey back home on the day of check out.

This Inn has been recently renovated. It is clean and comfortable. We had a quiet room. The bath products are also very nice. The parking is safe and convenient. Having Dutch Bros coffee next door was a plus!

Minor complaint, but the air conditioning unit was pretty loud.

So clean and the grounds were beautiful. I never expected to say this about a motel parking lot, but it was gorgeous - dense with mature trees and fragrant jasmine. We even went swimming though it was cold and windy because the pool looked so inviting. Our room was large and spotless with a king bed, foldout couch bed in a separate room, TV in each room, newly renovated bath with separate large double sink area, and mini fridge. No noise issues even though the freeway was a short walk away. Definitely glad we stayed here and walked every day to campus and downtown.

The room needs some updating and I would recommend that they replace the carpet with some nice vinyl flooring, it would be cleaner and easier to clean. Bathroom smelled clean, but looked like they missed some areas.

Location is great, very close to UCD and downtown. The size of the room worked out great with the 3 of us, there was a King bed for my wife and I and then a pull out for my son.

My room was far from the lobby and I would have appreciated vending machines nearby being that I forgot my water bottle and was thirsty at about 11 p.m.

The carpet has to be replaced.

The only thing that should be changed is the carpet, which was a little bit smelly. Otherwise, the facilities were within a walking distance from the university and user-friendly.

Not a huge deal, but mine was one of their rooms that was tucked under a stairway, so there was no front window and the back windows went to a kind of utility area. I didn't mind that they don't have breakfast, and there was coffee and tea and hot water too.

It would have been nice to have a continental breakfast included, but it was fine, as we knew beforehand that breakfast was not provided. Overall a very pleasant stay.

We had a multi-day event to attend at UC Davis, and this place met our needs. The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious and clean, and there was ample free parking. We could see and hear the Amtrak train from our room window, but it didn't disturb us. If you are a light sleeper, the hotel provides complimentary earplugs. Breakfast is not included, but there is complimentary coffee and tea in the room as well as in the lobby. We also appreciated the water bottle refill station in the lobby. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within a short distance (walking or driving). Dutch Bros is right next door if you need your specialty coffee fix.

Like a number of properties close to downtown the passing trains can be very loud from time to time which is the only negative about the stay.
