Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe upkeep of this facility is severely lacking… not sure if their isn’t enough staff, or the staff is stretched too thin, but the general maintenance and cleaning is either suffering, or no one cares. Throughout the lobby, most window was streaked, fingerprinted or just dirty. The carpets down the ballroom hallway needed vacuuming because of food crumbs from the night before. • Our first impression walking in from the Valet, all 5 trash cans were over flowing, even 2 days later, when we left. This is the most basic of basics… empty the trash cans when they’re full. • The windows at Rick’s Cafe were splattered with cleaners, wipe-streaks and horribly fingerprinted. Made it feel like the kitchen is as unclean as the windows in the dining area. • Ledges and shelves throughout the resort were dusty, like weeks worth of dust. We sat down at the bar, on the couch and noticed the backdrop was so dusty… probably not dusted for weeks. • Our room was beautiful when we first entered, then when you see the lack of attention to details, you could see our room was “cleaned” but it wasn’t “clean” like you would hope a Marriott would be (see pics) especially for the room rate we paid. There was dust all over the mirrors, the shower glass was water spotted and streaked from “wiping it down”, but not drying it. The bathroom mirror and magnifying makeup mirror were the same. Don’t get me started with the drinking glasses provided in the room. • Management is either not inspecting the resort or not holding their people accountable for cleanliness. Overall, I’d give this facility 2.5 stars (but the staff gets 5 stars for being friendly and helpful).
Our room was spacious, great pools with beach access, and a very friendly staff everywhere. Great views of the lake, the golf course and the pools. This is a nice escape/oasis from the hustle of Las Vegas proper. The Bacon Cheeseburger was delicious at Rick’s Cafe.

CanadaThe room I booked I thought was going to be updated like the pictures but it was super outdated and it originally didn’t have a terrance. I spoke to the front desk to see if there was other rooms available. They moved us to a different floor and room. We got our lake view we paid for but the bathroom was definitely not resort feel.
We liked it how we were far from the strip, the purpose of our trip was to be apart from the nightlife and more so relax and enjoy a more resort feel. The Westin Lake House provided us just that, along with free parking. The pool and amenities was spectacular feels and looks like a resort.

United StatesVery pricey (maybe only during the EDC event)! No microwave oven! More modern TV and coffee machine are desirable for the price.
A nice, big size hotel in a pretty neighborhood next to the Las Vegas lake with an option to get a room with an amazing lake view. It's 30-40 minutes away (by car) from downtown. Big and free guest parking. The room has a fridge and a coffee machine.

United StatesThe shower sucked. The shower heads need to be replaced. The shower did not drain properly, and I was standing in ankle deep water after a few minutes.
The best feature of this hotel is that it is off the Strip. No casinos in sight. It is in a lovely setting on Las Vegas Lake, and has pretty views. The landscaping is beautiful, but probably wastes lots of precious water. The restaurant was quite good. The King room with Lake View was spacious and comfortable.

United StatesOur room was not as clean as it should have been. There were cup ring stains on the nightstand. I was already settled in when I saw this so I used a towel to clean it off so I could put my drink down. I was kinda shocked and very tired and ready to sleep.
I loved the location of this facility and the fact I could self park and not pay extra. Everyone I encountered was very nice.

United StatesWhen we arrived the top blanket and sheets on one of the double beds were still wet from not being left in dryer long enough. There were straws, plastic wrappers and alot of bugs floating in both the pools, definitely needed to be cleaned and skimmed more often. Me nor my mom or step dad were able to use the hot tub bc all four times we were poolside, one of the times being 6hours mind you, was constantly filled with little kids between the ages of 3-10yrs old with their parents in hot tub or sitting near hot tub the whole time, no exaggeration the whole time, every single time. Even though right infront of them is a big sign that says no kids under the age of 12, as well as many hotel workers seeing them, even the main head pool guy walked by many many many times, seeing it and allowing it as well. That's rude of the parents, one, but that's real crappy the hotels employees including seniority employees don't enforce the rules of hotel.
The layout, design and location of hotel was beautiful for the family. The staff was very nice and helpful. All four of us who stayed enjoyed ourselves, but it could and should have been better...

United StatesThe grounds seem to be in disrepair in some areas and although the room was clean, much of the areas outside the room, was not clean. The elevators had trash on the floors. Lots of flying insects everywhere (even in our room). The water near the beach area was dirty and smelled. The room was hard to keep cool for some reason even though we had the thermostat set on 65. The room rate was a little high for a Sunday night.
The staff was very friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable.
