Did not like the road into the motel. It was rather wet and rough when I was there. Wish the refrigerator had a small freezer.

Close too the birding area. Nice to prepare early breakfasts and Pack a Lunch. It had a shower with lots of Hot water For the cost a nice motel.

Manager was friendly. She was open about the Ice machine being down, which was the only issue. Room was sparkling clean.

Could be updated some but clean and comfortable. Again, would like it to be a little more walking friendly to town, but doable.

Pretty good location. Would have liked to have a sidewalk closer to walk to town. Not bad though. Very good location if you are a fisherman! Outside areas were set up very nice. Places to sit, tables, and bonfire pit. Liked having a full size coffee pot in the room. Good restaurants and bars!

The beds were SO uncomfortable. I didn’t sleep well at all. The flies and mosquitos kept managing to come in while we were sleeping. When we woke up there were at least ten of them zooming around the room.

We stayed in a motel room. I liked how friendly the check in person was. She was very helpful when we got lost trying to find out room. Each room was the perfect size. It has everything you could possibly need during a stay away from home.

The rooms were very clean. I liked having a courtyard seating area to visit. The bed was very comfortable.

Bathroom was SMALL, as a taller bigger guy had to do some serious negotiation to get the bathroom door closed and fit myself on the toilet.

The bathroom was a little small, but it didn't really matter as we didn't spend a lot of time in there. The water pressure and temperature of water in the shower were great.

We were a little hesitant about staying here as it is not a popular hotel chain and when we asked an employee at a nearby business what they new about the White Caps Motel and they said they didn't hear a lot of great things we were even more apprehensive about staying here. However, we were pleasantly surprised upon walking into the White Caps hotel room. The room was very clean, it looked like it was recently updated, there was a nice size refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee maker and two very comfortable beds. The air conditioner kept our room nice and cool. We would definitely stay here again!

Didn’t have a wire, grill, brush, fillet, knife, and was too close to the road

It had all the amenities except for a fillet knife and a wire brush for the grill. It had a bonfire pit, a grill, picnic table, pots and pans, plates, cups, utensils, and you can get towels at the office.

We went up to fish and needed two beds and a bath. The room seemed recently updated and the price was much less than similar ‘fishing’ hotels in Port Clinton.

Rooms could use some repair (big gaps around front door) outdoor grilling area could use some updates.bathroom was kinda cramped if you are tall kinda hard to use comode and close door.

It was peaceful, quiet beds were comfortable room was clean. Check in was easy staff on duty was very pleasant. Was a good little motel for traveling.
