How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The toilet floor tiles gets sticky when wet. Did not clean up the room on 1 day. The room safe was out of order. No free coffee or tea sachets provided.
The hotel location was good. The rate was good. Room though old was ok. Aircond was ok. Friendly receptionist.

They charged for drinking water bottle
The staff was very good.tooms are clean. And a great location convenient to go any where. Ben than Market is very close just a minute.

The location is convenient, close to a shopping mall, market, many restaurants, coffee shops, etc. The hotel staff are very friendly.

The room was nice and clean but somehow I still found some small pieces of trash, hair in the makeup cabinet.
The hotel is on Ly Tu Trong street - a very nice spot in D1. It's easy to access to Ben Thanh market, restaurants, stores, etc. Staffs were very nice and friendly. My room was too good for what I paid for.

TV has no internet connection
Room is comfortable with window, from which I can enjoy breeze and city view by night. Location is very convenient for accessing Ben thành market, food street and shopping center nearby.

Very outdated room in need of a makeover badly. There were holes in the wall and the furniture was old and a piece of the bed was damaged. Neither TV worked. The countertop in the bathroom was broken in two pieces and they glued it back together. The door to the room could not be locked from the outside, in order to lock the door you have to push the button on the inside doorknob. The door had some random blue paint stains from somewhere even though there is no blue paint anywhere in the room.
Great location, the staff was very attentive and accommodating. We had to call the front desk for a few items and they brought them up very quickly.

There was a construction work noise that started at 7 am. Not the best place for sensitive people.
The hotel is fine and worth its price. There is a laundry service and an elevator. The location is good (except the construction work nearby).

Nothing negative about this hotel.
The location was superb! It was very close to restaurants and Ben Thanh Market. It was also close to Nguyen Hue and other famous places. We would definitely be back to this hotel again.

Shower pressure and water temperature were shocking. Bed very uncomfortable. For the price we paid it was not worth it. Very expensive for what we got. We had x2 rooms, one on different floor which stunk of cigarette smoke that never left whole time we were there, just revolting. Staff at reception spoke no English, so we struggled to ask questions and advice.

Stay elsewhere. Anywhere. Seriously, anywhere else would be better. The rooms are in poor condition with heavily marked/soiled walls, yellowing sheets, dirty airconditioners, and badly patched holes in walls (a sheet of paper does not a wall repair make). While the considerable amount of used toiletry products under the bed perhaps could have been overlooked, the large rat that chewed on the used toiletries and ran around the room was a little harder to ignore. Credit where it's due, the managers offer to 'catch the rat while you go for walk' was kind, but it took far too much pushing to get a new room. While absent rodents, the light fitting hanging from the roof and exposed wiring in the bathroom took the shine off the replacement room. Do yourself a favour, avoid.
Useful location, but not so useful as to overlook everything else.
