How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The hand held shower is very strange in a bathtub and the complicated lock and the unlit dark alley in the night. The bottom of the bath tub is damaged doesn’t look clean it’s scratched a lot. Booking description says it’s a beachfront property. No view of the beach at all as situated on the other side of the beach in a long alleyway.
Room is large with 2 chairs. Quiet except for a barking dog one night.

Location meant you required grabs everywhere but also meant that you weren't kept awake!

Couldn’t find have a remote control for the tv. Bathroom shelf and sink hole needed some attention .

Had no view of the beach whatsoever, was not located in centre and was difficult to get access to a decent public beach

I believe my bathroom wasn't cleaned as I found urine stains on the toilet seat. The room's windows don't have window nets, only curtains, so there's no privacy
I was able to check in early. Good-sized room with air conditioning. Comfortable bed (I like a hard mattress). Lots of convenient shops, street food, tourist information, and motorbike rental. Helpful hostess.

The only bad thing was the location, as it is about a 10min walk to access the beach as many beachfront hotels occupy entrance to the beach annoyingly!
The owner was exceptionally helpful. He was up early to ensure we got picked up for our sunrise sand dunes visit and also made sure to text checking that we got our bus out of Mui Ne, just a lovely man! The room itself was large and super clean, the bed was really comfy and the bathroom facilities were perfect! We couldn’t recommend this place enough.

The location of the hotel is very convenient: cafes, shops, the beach nearby. The first days we even managed without a motorbike, which we rented there later. The owner was always in touch on WhatsApp, and his family were always ready to advise and help. There is also a laundry service there. Special thanks for your help in purchasing sleeping tickets to Ho Chi Minh City, which was picked up from the hotel. it was very convenient. THANK you so much!

The staff is very kind and helpful , I really love him , I was staying there for one day but everything is prefect for me and he was helping me how to get the hotel by whatsapp , if you would like to have a tour trip , you can contact him as well

There were a bunch of mosquitoes in the room but it's a not really an issue if you can kill them all :----)
Location is perfect, it's a stone's throw away from the beach and yet tucked away from the main road so that noise is not an issue. It's quiet at night. The room is spacious, the bed is comfortable and the decor is simple and neat. The toilet was also quite clean and water pressure was quite good. The owners are super helpful, warm and hospitable. They answered all my queries and looked out for me. It was a joy interacting with them. There are also convenience stores within walking distance for any daily necessities.

the water heater is not strong enough. kitchenwares could be improved :)
Location is easy and strategic although it’s abit hidden in a small lane, providing a quiet atmosphere. Warm and friendly service provided by the staff. The room is the same as the picture showed. Spacious family room, comfortable bed and strong air conditioner. Facilities in room could be slightly improved. overall a nice staycation experience w budget spent~!

-The air conditioning was blowing directly on the bed -The room is dated and in need of some maintenance -It is not beachfront property since resorts were build all along the beach and you cannot access it. The actual beach is far away. -there were bugs in the shower -there was no hand soap available

Friendly staff and it was clean. It is located next to the 1001 Hotel. You need to go in through the alley, walk straight and you’ll see the fence with the entrance.
