Our stay was exceptional. The bungalow was so cozy and cute and view was very pretty. The owner was so nice and friendly, he even made an early checkin possible for us. We had breakfast and dinner at the property, both very good, we recommend the banana pancakes with chocolate.

- not Thoc House's fault, but taxi drivers in Sapa are different from the rest of Vietnam, they charge around 300k Dong for a ride from Sapa. As Thoc House is a few kilometers outside and there is no bus you'll have to take a taxi in the end. But if you're looking to get away from the touristy, crowded and busy place that Sapa is: you're right at Thoc House!

We loved staying in this cozy, family run place. Duy, our host, was so incredibly kind and went a long and worked very hard way to make us feel at home. He also cooks all kinds of delicious food! :)

The staff are super nice and make everything possible to leave you satisfied and happy. The host was helpful with bike rent and finding a taxi, room are well styled, breakfast has many options and they are willing to make some adjustments if you ask. Really lovely place

We do hear some dogs and chickens but I think this would be the same no matter where you stayed.

The entry is really welcoming. A lot of characters and effort put into it. There are fish ponds and cottages. Straight away made me feel we are in some tropical countries. The room we stayed was very comfortable and clean. The view is amazing!! We can see the terrace rice and also houses on the hills. The house is actually in a little town center area as to super tucked away. The house is close to bamboo trail and Ta Van to Sa Pa bridge trail. Breakfast is included in the booking piece. Dong is the man of everything. He even let us use his motorbike without expecting a return. He also cooks perfect pancakes! He is very accommodating and friendly. A great host.

Bring ear plugs, some kind of hour long radio goes off through a speaker in the village at 6am

Cozy rooms which let a lot of light in during the day which is nice. It was quite cold when we were there so the heated mattress was a huge plus. The food menu was also good.

Sapa Thoc House is the BEST place to stay in Sapa. It’s about 20-25 minutes drive from Sapa centre so it’s wonderful to be away from the busyness. The cabins are incredible and have the most amazing views and for the colder evenings, there is a heated blanket and heater in the cabin which is amazing. The staff are so kind and helpful and welcomed us like family which was lovely. You can eat here all day with a great menu and great prices and the location is perfect for anyone wanting to go trekking. We will be back!

Stayed here in winter and the cabin was so cosy. One of my favourite stays so far on my trip. Beautiful room, very clean, great value for money, the heated blanket and heater were amazing, the owners were so friendly and the food was great too. We had such a lovely stay at Thoc House, it's really good value for money. The bungalow was cute, spacious, clean, well equipped and had a beautiful view. The staff were friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Especially Mr Dong who also helped us organise our taxi back to Sa Pa afterwards. There are nice walking trails close by and a range of cafes and restaurants. The homestay is attached to a restaurant which also has great food. They take card payments too which can be helpful because there are no atms in this village. Thanks Mr Dong and family!!

Absolutely everything. The bungalows were beautiful and cozy, Sapa gets quite cold so they provide a heat fan/lamp and a heated blanket. Showers were hot and bed was comfy. Beyond the actual accommodation which was 10/10, đồng and his family took the best care of everyone who walked through the doors. I was there during tét holiday so I wasn’t expecting much but they went above and beyond. Đồng educated me about the Hmong people living in Sapa along with the traditions that go with tét. Myself and the other guest were invited to make traditional cakes cakes one evening with them which was very special. Ive been travelling for 6 months now and this was one of my favourite stays. Thank you so much.

Location and staff is great. We could experience very cold and humid weather and it was okay. The shower was hot and the host gave us extra heater. The location is perfect to start some trekking in the rice fields. Ms Linh is so nice. Thanks again

Should have stayed longer than 2 nights!

There are so many choices in Sapa! We had decided we wanted to stay out of Sa Pa and in one of the villages. We are so pleased we chose Thoc House (based on reviews and price), Mr Dong and family were very welcoming. We had a bungalow with ensuite which was just perfect. Clean and as described. It had a terrace area with a great view. You are in the village, so easy to walk the trails from the door (which we did ourslelves) and come back for drinks and dinner at their restaurant. Dinner delicious and good price too. The electric blanket was really appreciated. We enjoyed breakfast that was included. Mr Dong was very helpful in organising us a taxi when we got of our bus in Sa Pa via WhatsApp and on our last day. We even left our big rucksacks in a hotel in Sa Pa on the last day which Mr Dong arranged for us. Mr Dong and family couldn't do enough for us.

The service was amazing and very accommodating. The cabins were adorable and it was a perfect little getaway Breakfast was great and they were super helpful in organizing a cheap motorbike taxi for me back to Sapa.

The best accommodation I had in Vietnam so far! The bungalow was super clean and warm (which is important in the winter), the breakfast was big and tasty, the host and his family were friendly, sweet and helpful, advising on places to see and helping to organise the transport. Great value!

We had a very nice stay! The ladies where super nice and the food was really good! Lots of nature and nice spots where you can sit down to talk or read a book. We had some issues with our bus so we were very late (around 2.30am) but that was no problem at all! We would definetly go again any time!!
