When we arrived our room was not as described in the original booking… maybe an update of photos and description needed. Upon check-in our beds weren’t made and had to chase up sheets and make our beds. But this was rectified by housekeeping the next morning.

We liked that breakfast was included in the room rate, beds were comfortable and we had a balcony and washing line to dry our beach clothes!

The hotel needs renovation. It looks shabby and some things are out of order. Breakfast might be a bit more varied. If you are a vegetarian, not sure there are any options for you.

People who work there are great! they will do their best to satisfy your needs and organise some activities for if you ask them. Very hospitable and eager to make your stay comfortable. 😊👏

Room is small and they don't look as spacious as they are in the booking.com photos. Unpleasant view facing old buildings and minor construction work. The floor trap in the shower area was clogged up with hair, causing the water to collect and pool and overflow in the shower area, as it was not able to drain quickly. The hotel is a bit of a walk to My Khe beach (a good 7 - 9 minutes of fast walking).

For the price paid...excellent value for money. The bed and pillows were so plush and comfortable. Breakfast spread was not bad considering the price. They did make efforts to serve something different everyday when I was there for 4 days. Friendly receptionists and waitresses. Good location in town. TV channel choices were good, signal was clear. 2 free small water bottles complimentary daily.

Maybe suffering from long pandemic and lockdown so the breakfast options were not so many. We could choose between chicken noodle, fried rice and omelet however it's small, so I had to order all of these to be full.

Perfect location since just 200m from the beach, around so many options of seafood and other stuff. The hotel is well designed, room is large enough and very clean. Everything is provided including towels, toothbrush etc. The staff was very helpful and quick, free Wifi was fast enough to watch streaming video.

1. toiletries were missing and when asked, the staff said "out of stock". unacceptable in the hospitality industry. someone should've run to the nearest convenience store and got replenishments. 2. one of the beds we got had half an inch to an inch of box springs jutting out of the mattress right on the side where you get off the bed. my friend almost got slashed by those springs! how can that pass inspection of housekeeping staff??? 3. not sure how thorough they clean or if they use a checklist at all. we were 4 in a room and only had complete set of coffee cups at check-in. it was never replaced. 4. AC took forever to cool the rooms. it seems the AC units are not well maintained. we had to ask for a stand fan, and also extra room keys - the cards to keep on the slot by the door to keep the AC running when we step out. otherwise, it would feel like a sauna in the rooms.

We didn’t sleep well- our room was quite noisy from the traffic outside. We also didn’t enjoy this part of Da Nang. So many giant restaurants that sit empty. We sat in the bar for a drink downstairs but we were the only people there.

The hotel organized us a taxi to the airport. The location is close to the beach and the room was spacious.

I think the bathrooms and outdoor balcony could have been cleaner. Although the towels were changed daily, the bed linen was never changed in the 5 days I stayed there. The heat was high but the humidity even higher, so those sheets really needed to have been charged. Also, there wasn't a lift, so if you were on the 4th floor like me, that meant having to climb 67 steps to get to your room and because there's no phone in the room, obviously if there was a problem, you had to keep running up and down those stairs.

The staff were exceptionally friendly. The location was good for the beach especially and easy walking to the many local restaurants. Front of house were helpful with ordering grab scooter taxi and could also help with booking trips. Just opposite the hotel is a convenience store and right next door is a very good Indian restaurant.

Although it is a big accommodation, we can find a cozy and clean atmosphere here. The twin beds are bigger than any other place I’ve visited since here are 5f beds. Mostly we love how the staff are friendly and sincere, and always ask if the client needs help. They are ready to give us suggestions. I never give comments on any properties, but Sofia Boutique Hotel should be recommended when visiting Danang.
