Location in the woods meant that everything got a bit damp over night

Time moved to fast......

I would have liked to stay longer, I didnt get to walk and swim as much as I would if I wasnt staying for work. The host was also really interesting. Make time to chat with them and hear what they are up to on the property if you get to stay here.

It was loadshedding while I was here in the evening but it was such a beautiful property so I had an awesome walk and explored the forest. When electricity came back on everything worked perfectly and room was lovely. Breakfast was so generous, I hardly could finish any of the many courses. Also I love that there are lots of pets around to love.

Room didn't have essentials such as a dish cloth, plates and maybe iron. And some basic kitchen utensils. Outside of the room, it was pitch black.

- We had the classic king room, which is in a wooden building. There were other guests just above our room and you could hear every step and noise. If we would stay again we would ask for a room on the second floor. - Room felt a bit dark (potentially rooms on second floor are brighter)

- Big estate with lovely surroundings - Modern room, well equipped - Excellent breakfast - Lovely swimming pool & chilling area

Amazing and accommodating staff. The breakfast was delicious and our vegan diet was accommodated by the host. Clean rooms and someone came daily to tidy the room.

Power for load shedding but the hosts are working on improvements.

The property is in beautiful surroundings. The hosts are wonderful. The property is unique, as is the host, in a very good way. We felt comfortable and at home immediately. The hosts are friendly, hospitable and had very good sense of humours. We loved our stay at Edenbrook and would thoroughly recommend it.

The warm breakfast was superb - the owner should open a restaurant! The lodge has a large open deck on the first floor with a braai, swimming pool, and great views of the surrounding nature, making it particularly suitable for families or groups. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, completed by a monkey sneaking into the dining area to steal some food!
