A cappuccino would have been nice, especially for a 4 star guest house. Otherwise nothing to fault.

Room was lovely. Comfy bed. Felt very safe at the guest house as I am not very fond of the area. Breakfast was good. Staff and owners were lovely. Will definitely stay again when passing through.

We have repeatedly traveled to South Africa and always enjoyed the wonderful hospitality. However, the generosity, attention and kindness of Rob and Aimee exceeded our expectations by far. It is for this very reason - and actually for them personally - that we have decided to write our first review ever. Please do expect a clean and very eco-friendly accommodation, the most caring and respectful hosts, very relaxed and friendly dogs, a lovely breakfast cooked in front of your eyes as well as great advice on where to dine in Graaff-Reinet. It is truly enchanting.

Absence of a TV? There was nothing else not to like. Dogs were around, but well-behaved and not a nuisance

Liked the location, quiet, beautiful garden, pool, birds singing, lovely comfortable chairs in spots for relaxing and reading. Host and hostess were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was very good and tasty

Rob and Aimee were very friendly and we were most impressed that they thought ahead to book dinner for us in advance for Friday and Sunday night as most placed were closed due to the long weekend.

It was easy to find and good location to central town and close to some of the tourist attractions like the dam and the valley of desolation. Calm and tranquil environment at the property. The hosts Aimee and rob were fantastic. A must stay when you head to the area.

The hosts, Rob and Aimee, were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. It was a great location for access to restaurants and places to eat in town. We were expecting a room that faced the pool but were allocated a room at the back which, although quieter, didn't have quite such a nice view. We enjoyed lovely breakfasts in the garden.

The accommodation is spacious, clean and v comfortable. It is set in a very quiet delightful garden setting with plentiful sun beds, a lovely decent sized pool and lots of sheltered outdoor seating areas including breakfast. The hosts were super helpful and the Valley of Desolation is well worth a visit , go around 4pm and to the 1 hr rim walk.

I thought I had paid extra for a much larger room but it didn’t appear very big at all, just what I’d expect for a normal room.

Very helpful owners and staff. Great location with good facilities
