Blois Castle and Chambord Castle are 9 km from the property. We spend couple of nights in Grotteaux Chateau and frankly speaking - it was one of the best properties we’ve staying in! Everything is EXCELLENT!!! When we just came Gael made us feel like we come at home. It was the warmest welcome. Every morning and evening, when we saw Gael - he was so friendly - I can’t describe how comfortable it was there. The Chateau itself was absolutely fabulous, it is a real castle with this magic atmosphere and exciting history. By the way, Gael even guide us in this chateau and told us many many interesting stories. I repeat myself - we felt like we are visiting our close friend, we felt so happy to be there. This place is something unique what impossible to find somewhere else. By the way, we like it as much as after 2 nights in another chateau we are coming back tomorrow. It is definitely worth to stay there at least once!

Offering a bar, the property is located within 13 km of Art and History Museum. The property is non-smoking and is located 15 km from Cholet textile museum. Fabulous location next to the Parc Oriental (which we visited). Room was ready early and had a view over the park. Free entry to the Chateau vegetable garden, which was very worth seeing. Excellent restaurant. Breakfast OK but not special for the cost. Parking very close to the building with easy access to the rooms by a lift. Nice period decor to room, with modern bathroom.

The welcome was incredibly warm, the location is beautiful and the room was everything we had hoped. The full experience was very special, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The food was amazing! Dinner was offered and having our food out on the patio, was glorious.
