Located on a hill above a cove, you can sit on your porch and watch the ocean. The rooms were clean, cozy, and comfortable. The staff was amazing and friendly! The breakfast was delicious and full of variety. The little bar was perfect for grabbing a bottle of the local bianco and sitting outside watching the moon come up.

Hotel La Stella is set in the most beautiful place with unbelievable views . The food was perfect and the hotel was clean with a typical Italian feel.

Portoferraio Harbour is 19 km from Hotel La Rosa, while Elba Airport is a 10-minute drive from the property. the village is nice, so quiet, ... actually the hotel was closed. we did not know in advance. the owner appeared from somewhere and offered an appartment. being right in the centre. the restaurant mentioned in the comments was also closed, so we had to go down to the shores to Marina di Campo to get something for dinner because up in the village everything was closed. nothing to eat. we were in off-season. in Marina we bought grilled chicken at Conad.
