The staff was so warm and friendly, I loved the the hotel offered game drives. The breakfast was honestly so yummy and tasty. The hotel gave us a complimentary bottle of wine and a food platter since we were celebrating my husbands birthday.

Marula Gardens is located in Riverview in Mtubatuba. It offers an outdoor pool and lush garden. Free private parking is available and the Umfolozi Golf Club and a restaurant is 850 metres away.

The air-conditioned standard rooms and rondavels have tea-and-coffee-making facilities. Services was good Facility good.

The Chalets have a private bathroom with a shower in each unit and are equipped with a fridge, kettle, BBQ, bed linen and towels. The Budget Rooms are provided with bed linen and a BBQ. They make use of the communal bathrooms and guests need to bring their own towels. Excellent breakfast and dinner, be sure to make the reservation for dinner before 16.00 hrs. I stayed 5 days. The lodge is not far from iMfolozi park , the Cheetah project and iSimangaliso Wetland park. I enjoyed it a lot, great stay.!

Each large, air-conditioned room at the Gooderson DumaZulu Lodge & Traditional Village is decorated in orange, red and brown tones and feature with straw or wooden beamed ceilings. There is safety deposit box and a tea/coffee maker. The private bathroom has a bath, shower and a hairdryer. We were traveling group of 9 people around 4 countries. We booked Gooderson DumaZulu Lodge beacuse of references and photos. We were not disappointed. Everything was just great: the setting itself, green garden, big huts, pool and the romantic walk trhough wooden path to restaurant. The dinner was excellent, everything fresh and tasty. Breakfast perfect as well. After breakfast we took a show at cultural village (including dances and songs). We highly recommend visit at this lodge.

Guests can take a charming walk along the nyala trail or enjoy a refreshing drink overlooking the water hole. after driving 5 min through dense forest we arrived at the reception, checked in and then went to the viewing deck which was overlooking a wide open field. The view was overwhelming.. deers, blue wildebeest, Zebras and three gIraffes were grazing in the wide expanse not more than 50m from us. The same 3 giraffes 'blocked' out path when driving the few meters to our bungalow. What an experience! The staff were super helpful. The AC wasn't properly cooking, a repair company was just on the premises and they gave them the order to right away also refill the gas on our AC unit.

I was happy, at least I now for next time.
