To begin this tour, you'll be picked up in Vik and then head to the Katla Ice Cave. The cave is located inside the Kötlujökull Glacier, which is an outlet of the Mýrdalsjökull glacier. Along the way, you'll take in views of the surrounding moss-covered mountains.
Upon arrival, a guide will take you through a safety briefing and give you all the necessary safety equipment needed to navigate the cave. After the introduction, you'll walk across the glacier and into the ice cave to explore this natural phenomenon.
