Skip the line
Duration: 3 hours

On this tour, you will get the chance to discover one of the most important museums in Rome and the world's oldest public collection of art. The Capitoline Museums are the main civic museum of the city, located in the beautiful Michelangelo-designed Campidoglio Square.

Opened to the public in 1734 under Clement XII, the Capitoline Museums were the first museum in the world to recognise that art is to be enjoyed by all and not only by the owners.

Led by a professional guide, you will explore the most important rooms of the museum, admiring the beautiful frescoes and the classical artwork. You will get to see masterpieces such as the 'Capitoline Wolf', the 'Dying Gaul', several ancient paintings and sculptures and the spectacular view of the Roman Forum.
