La Casa de Teresita is a tranquil retreat with a lovely garden in a nice neighborhood of La Paz. The view from the gardens over the city and mountains in the background is amazing! It is so peaceful there, and everyone is so kind, helpful, and friendly. The tour of the main house is really neat to see all of the history of Bolivia and the family who owns the house.
It is easy to step out the door to grab a taxi and go 10 minutes to the historic center, or just stay and enjoy the grounds and the neighborhood it is in. There are plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from all within a 10 minute stroll.
The breakfast is tasty, the shower is strong and hot, the beds are comfortable, and the rooms are large with plenty of counter space and closet space to keep things organized. We loved our stay here and look forward to another visit!

Staff was lovely and helpful. They even brought us a forgotten item down to Santa Cruz. It’s a bit of a trek—or short taxi— up the hill but the views, clean air and pool make it worth it. Plus each room is lovingly decorated and unique.

Gorgeous hotel with very spacious rooms, comfortable beds, amazing showers. Pool, jacuzzi and sauna were amazing as well. Staff was super friendly, it was my boyfriends birthday and they let us check in early, check out late and prepared a delicious cake for him.

Breakfast was delicious, and included eggs to order, with variety from day to day. The hotel amenities are all great, including a nice pool, a billiards table, and a cool skybar. The gym is small but mighty, with machines, a yoga mat, and a versatile weight bench. The staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive. I felt welcomed and at home throughout the stay.

Not to mention the super charming house, clean and comfy rooms, really good breakfast… - it’s the staff that makes this hotel a 5-star experience. I had many troubles to organize my trip and Raul and his colleagues in the end managed to find the best option for me (and that’s definitely not their job to do). Thanks a lot to the team of Su Merced.
