Actually it is not a hotel, it is a lovely home and same comfortable, all stuff are helpful, kinde and genteel, hotel is so clean

This is a brand new hotel with apartment style rooms, open for 28 days before our stay. We actually thought we had booked a hotel in Sarangkot near the top of the hill up from Pokhara, but it turned out this hotel is at the base of the hill right next to the cable car that goes to the top. The staff was excellent, starting with Susmita at the reception desk. Facilities were 5 star for 3 star price, but I expect prices to go up as the hotel gets established.

All the staffs were very friendly and kind to us. And the mountain and lake view from the rooftop was very amazing.

Staying in Barang with Kabi's family was the highlight of our 4 weeks in Nepal. Ama and Baba were so welcoming, and they showed us so much about village life in Nepal. We were invited to help with cooking and farmwork, so we learned alot. Our favourite part was sitting in the kitchen to have meals together (by the way, all meals are included). We will always cherish our memories of Barang and can't wait to visit again one day.

We cannot say enough good things about Mr. B’s. This is a budget hotel/cottage in a small village outside a National park, so its offerings are simple but met all of our needs. The room was one of the nicest we had in Nepal (and the cheapest), the food was delicious and the whole experience left us relaxed and refreshed. I am not sure life will ever bring me back to Bardiya, but if it does- this is where I will stay.

Very nice welcoming family, they are very happy. They make you feel like part of the family. I was staying in the top apartment which has a super nice view and very private. The location is also very nice close to all the restaurants and lake but still in enough to have some distance from the main road making it peaceful. Also the uncle bishnu is a Trekking guide so if you need help with that you can talk to him.

Not only it’s the hotel in a great location, but the hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and located near everything you need. However, the best part of the hotel is the amazing, kind staff. From the moment I stepped in, to when I left, I was treated as if I was part of the family. They went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable. Every time I was by the reception, I was offered tea, and when I missed breakfast, they didn’t hesitate and offered to prepare it for me. I have been many places, but very few where I felt so welcomed like here. With the most sincere of opinions, this hotel is very special.

Nivas is really a hidden gem! It is a wonderful place ! We were picked up ay the airport with a very comfortable car , it was late in the evening , all the shops were closed , it was quitte and dark on the street . Wenn the driver open the door from the car we felt if we arrived in a fairytale with the beautiful art every where in the hotel , we felt so luxury ! The staff had a surprise for us because we had booked the wedding suite , they made a delicious cake for us as a welcome gift ! The room was amazing , for the breakfast we could chose what we want ! A special thank for The staff ! The were really great and understand what hospitality is and what the guests need. We have made very nice trips in and around Kathmandu organized by the wonderful staff. Kathmandu is really a big surprise , it is so wonderful in the capital of Nepal ! And … Nivas is 10 minutes walk from the most famous tourist area from Kathmandu Thamel. With Nivas boutique hotel you have the best of both worlds ! You have a warm and welcome home with the best beds ever and you are nearby the touristic area with good restaurant and coffee places what do you want more ? We can recommend this place for every one who want to experience and explore surprising Kathmandu .
