I ordered breakfast room service and it was very comfortable. I will come back every time I have to fly in & out of Kathmandu!!

Amazing temple with so much rich cultural and religious background. The ambiance you feel during evening pray, arati dance and cold breeze from north gives you feeling of heavenly blessings. I dont have any words to describe it.

Colorful, lively, and diverse!
Colorful, lively, and diverse! The people are friendly and helpful. The food is great! The roads aren't exciting; but I read that the government is working on redoing the road system. It is a country struggling from a devastating earthquake, Covid, and general economic woes. But it doesn't mean you won't enjoy traveling around Nepal. Kathmandu itself is a densely expansive City with lots to see and do. Many of the cultural sites are worthwhile seeing. Set aside plenty of time for transportation to and from.

The neighbourhood is very pleasant with a buddist culture and many monasteries and monks. Plenty of restaurants among which I prefer the local ones with local food. But there are many alternatives and one can find all kinds of food and really good coffee. Its a must to spend time around the stupa and participate in the rituals. It is walking distance to many places worth visiting. A comparable clean and calm part of Kathmandu.

The Durbar square is much nicer than Kathmandu’s and one can walk around with minimal to no hassle from touts and ‘guides’. The museum is beautiful and has a wonderful collection of Buddhist figures with helpful commentary on each piece so that the different types of figures start to make some sense. Restaurants around the square are all pretty similar and tour group oriented, but there are some decent restaurants nearby in Pulchowk and Jamsikhel.

This place is full of wonderful restaurants where you can have your choice of foods and got your own time to spend time by yourself and the place is very neat and clean. The main thing I loved about this place is that there is very less crowd.

You would love if you just visit some of the UNESCO world heritage sites with great historical, cultural and religious significance in Kathmandu Nepal. And especially what I loved how the tourist guides and hosts at the hotels are always trying to provide the best services to the international travellers even in their difficult situation in terms of management of time in their festival seasons when most of their employees are given a week long holidays.
