The location was perfect and the view from our balcony was amazing!

Beautiful setting and views! And the staff totally epitomized friendly St Maarten. From front desk to all restaurant and pool venues they were great.

We absolutely loved the staff and the size of the rooms. The staff was so kind and helpful, always available for any questions you have. They really go above and beyond while being super discrete and respectful. The rooms were super clean and spacious. Great view and really well equipped. We also enjoyed the pool very much. Overall, we can’t wait to go back to this place, great value for the price.

The location was reachable to wherever you may want to go. There is a bus stop at the road head which takes you to both Philipsburg and Marigot on the French side. I used the bus to visit all the areas and places I wanted to see only for $2 for each journey, and you get to blend in so well with the locals. They are open for a good chat. Everyone says good morning and good afternoon as you pass them. There are so many things I can talk about but space to write here is limited. Overall, the Island is very beautiful and worth the visit. I would go back and stay again at Carl's Unique Inn. The owner is a very nice gentleman, very mannerly and approachable, always ready to assist. The best breakfast ever, freshly made sandwiches each morning upon your request. The Island is hilly and I loved it because walking up and down the hills naturally did good for my heart and body each day. Very wonderful beaches. Also, while on the island, you need to visit the nearby islands too.

Belair is a smaller resort that is quiet and all the staff are friendly and very helpful. The beach is beautiful and you pick your own beach chairs and they are reserved for you for your entire stay so you don't have to worry about finding chairs each day. You could not pick a better resort on the whole island!

EVERYTHING and EVERYONE.. We had reservations at Bakers Suites to begin with but they lost our reservation two weeks before our vacation so thankfully we were able to book a room last minute at the Commodore and what a blessing. The Commodore Suites is fabulous, the staff Amazing, a full grocery/liquor store right below us with a fabulous buffet every day, all day with fantastic food and great prices. Perfect location with a view of the ocean on one end and the mountains on the other end. Did I mention the rooftop pool with a treadmill in it. So fun. Honestly, I can’t say enough good about the Commodore.

Landscaping was awesome. Clean place. Breathtaking view. Close to airport but yet so peaceful when you're inside. Friendly staff, updated kitchen appliances.

Worth it! Great price for 2 beds in a huge apartment. Great location, too. And the best part was the staff. The two brothers that were always on duty explained a lot of opportunities to explore the island and even set us up with their local paddling club to surfski the reef. We rented a car for $45+fees at Payless just 1/4 mile away...and then bikes for $35/weekend at Trisport. Saw the whole island, got some fresh air, ate some great food, listened to some great reggae.
