We enjoyed our stay very much.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment had spectacular views of the ocean from every room. The location was another plus. It was a short walk to the beach, cafes/restaurants/bars, casino and nightlife. Plenty of transportation available in area. Our host reached out to us several times to make sure that we were ok.
Would recommend to friends and family.

It was a great trip.
It was a great trip. Favorite spots include mullet bay beach, moonbar, beer garden, mimosa sky lounge, in all maho is a great spot to stay due to the lively vibes. We ate at the burger bar, with the best burgers ever. Getting around in Lowlands was so easy, you can walk everywhere.

Beautiful place, good located, many restaurants, quiet neighborhood, friendly people. It is easy to go around, by walk, taxi or local bus. Close to Maho beach where you can enjoy views of landing aircrafts.

Baie Nettle is a gated beach resort right on the beach with access to several swimming pools. Everything, from the two bedroom unit, pools and grounds was well kept and very clean. The accommodation is close to shopping and other amenities like gas, food stores, restaurants, a mini store across the street with fresh vegetables, wine, fresh baguettes and frozen foods. A rental car is needed but there is ample free parking within the gated community. There is a nice quiet A/C that keeps the whole living and sleeping area comfortable. The bathroom is modern and the shower is wonderful. The internet works well and doesn't cut out. You can stream your own entertainment on the TV by using your personal logins or just watch movies and news on Youtube for free. The Hosts were very helpful and responded quickly to our questions. As this was our first visit to the Caribbean, Baie Nettle Resort and this accommodation specifically, was a perfect choice.

Loved the hotel.
Loved the hotel. Room was a nice size and came with a kitchenette, beds comfy abd the shower was hot. Centrally located so you have access to everything you need, plenty of restaurants on and near the property. Pool and gym access. Scenic views of the bay. Do the city tour… so you can get a snapshot of the island… eat at the local eateries..,they’re the best. Revial has THE best breakfast, Buccaneers and Shoreline (hole in the wall but the most authentic food) the beaches are gorgeous enjoy as many as you can. You can also take a ferry to nearby Anguilla and St Barts

Very private and safe.
Very private and safe. There was a grocery and small shopping center with a few good restaurants close by (5-10 minutes). It is a bit of a drive to get to the other end of the island (40 minutes) but it is worth the trade-off for privacy. It is also nice to be close to the airport, as traffic can be a bit unpredictable on the island.

Don’t book a city view very noisy Thursday, Friday and Saturday a disco on the street plays booming music from 10 pm until 2 or 3 in the morning. Lounge chairs around the pool uncomfortable and at a premium mostly reserved in advance with towels and books and left vacant for hours. Food was good but made well in advance and not hot, bar service was good and mixed drinks the best, wine mediocre.
Staff friendly and helpful except for front desk who need to refer everything to the manager.

Beautiful location with large swimming pool right in front of the ocean where you can snorkel. Full well-equipped kitchen with supermarket right across the street. Comfortable bedding and super clean property. Many restaurants and stores walking distance from property. We enjoyed the Driftwood restaurant and bar right next door to the property. Good food and drinks at reasonable prices. Many locals eat there as well. Very fun vibe.

We stayed one night at the end of our weeklong sailing trip.
We stayed one night at the end of our weeklong sailing trip. For that, Baie Nettle is just right. If you're beginning your island exploration you might be disappointed with the location. It feels isolated and the walk along the road isn't very nice. However, the bakery that's a 10 minute walk is fabulous and worth dodging traffic for.
You will be stranded more or less without a car, so plan accordingly. We stayed in the hotel the whole time, which was perfect because of the shady, lovely gardens and the spacious rooms and balconies. We ate in the hotel restaurant and our kids played at the playground and in the pool. We didn't need anything else.
A taxi to the airport is 60 euros.

There were many places to eat but our favorite spot was The Captains Rib Shack. The food was delicious and there was a wide variety. There was easy access to buses which was our mode of transport. We stayed on the Dutch side but took the bus to the French side, Bus fare is $2.00 to Philipsburg and $1.50 to Maho. I strongly recommend Maho Beach where the planes fly low overhead to land. It was an awesome experience.
