We stayed at Dajas Douro Valley for two nights this weekend with our dog and it was simply amazing! The hotel is nestled in the middle of the trees with a breathtaking panoramic view of the Douro River and the surrounding valleys, absolutely wow! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Beatriz, who went above and beyond throughout the whole weekend to make sure we had everything we needed. On Saturday, we decided to fully enjoy the hotel: we relaxed by the beautiful swimming pool and later had a wonderful wine tasting experience with Manuel. The conversation was fascinating, learning about the history of the Douro Valley and the different local wines , truly a highlight. The food, prepared by Donna Esperanza, was outstanding! Delicious, authentic dishes that truly reflect the flavors of this region of Portugal. If you’re looking for the perfect getaway to relax, disconnect, and recharge, I can’t recommend Dajas Douro Valley enough. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to return!

We really enjoyed the peaceful countryside, the great view over the valleys as well as the really nice pool. The farm is in a perfect position to explore the sites around. But the real plus is the hospitality of the owners. We had dinner every evening sitting at the large table in the kitchen with other guests and friends of the family. The food served was outstanding, grown on the farm and healthy. This makes this place a really unique experience!

So incredibly beautiful, so much character and so very comfortable. A wonderful setting with swimming pool and beautiful gardens. The family were absolutely amazing! So very friendly and welcoming and provided us with the most incredible breakfast ever!!!! This was an exceptional experience and one we will never forget.

Beautiful Place close by the River! Super friendly, clean and just amazing property! We loved it! Totally recommend!

The farm stay features a pool with a view with a fence, as well as wellness packages and a 24-hour front desk. Beautiful property. Felt like home. Host was amazing and kind. Food was amazing, felt like we were visiting family. Claudino cooked us wonderful 4 course meal for dinner. Breakfast was a feast. Lovely fire was roaring when we arrived. Best experience of our trip to Portugal. If you are anywhere near…plan to stay. We will be back in summer to enjoy gardens and pool.

The surrounding gardens were a joy to explore, and the peaceful environment provided a perfect retreat. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Their local insights and recommendations helped us make the most of our visit to Amares. Quinta Devesa do Monte is an ideal choice for those looking to experience the natural beauty and warm hospitality of Northern Portugal. Highly recommended!

Set 17 km from Shipyards of Viana do Castelo, Casa do Casal - Country House with Swimming Pool offers accommodation with a patio, as well as a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a garden. The farm stay offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. The house is fantastic and a perfect option for a family trip. The kids loved the pool (although we were not so lucky with the weather and couldn't use it as much) and we enjoyed the place a lot and the surrounding area is lovely for short evening strolls. The kitchen is well equipped and the apartment super clean and spacious, also the contact with the owners was very friendly and helpful.
