The attitude and attention from the staff was amazing. Also the chef prepared wonderful meals and we enjoyed the dining just steps from the water. Our cabana was large, clean, and very comfortable. The management arranged adventures and transportation for us and everything went perfectly.

The staff were unbelievable nothing was too much trouble and the food was absolutely incredible. The location was just idyllic and a perfect contrast to a busier Hamilton Island. It is a unique and beautiful place that I hope has a wonderful and successful future.

We loved everything about the property. the location and its seclusion. The room was lovely simple, stylish and very comfortable. It felt luxurious with out being pretentious. Food was excellent and generous! The staff were definitely a highlight. Relaxed attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Fabulous! I would highly recommend a stay here. The helicopter transfer was great another highlight.

Surrounded by rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef, Elysian Retreat is a 3 hectare private cove offering accommodations which focuses largely on sustainability and the importance of protecting and preserving natural assets and reducing waste. Located on the Southern Point of Long Island in Paradise Bay, Elysian Retreat offers beach front bungalows, a day spa, an outdoor magnesium pool and restaurant.

The chefs daily changing menu is inspired by the natural surroundings of Long Island and the Whitsundays, using the freshest seasonal produce sourced from the Island’s own vegetable garden and from nearby surrounding farming regions. Fresh prawns, Moreton Bay bugs and tropical rock lobsters are just some of local delicacies sourced from local fisherman or suppliers.

The day spa at Elysian Retreat is committed to sustainable and holistic practices and uses high quality organic, botanical and wildcrafted ingredients for treatments. The expert therapists align therapeutic and luxurious treatments to suit each guest. Treatments include whole body skin therapies, massage, facials and reflexology.

The retreat features inclusions such as 3 gourmet meals daily. Guests can enjoy complimentary activities at the property such as snorkeling, paddleboarding, kayaking and yoga, with free use of water sports equipment.
