David and Tracy have lived in Competa for eight years and have fallen in love with the village and the whole area of the Axarquia region of Andalucia. With this they decided to make use of their large townhouse and have modernised it and turned it in to a beautiful bed and breakfast so that people can come and see for themselves what a delight the area and the people are.

KiCo Bed and Breakfast is situated in the heart of Competa adjacent to the main square and the church. The original building is believed to be one of the oldest central Competa houses. Part of the ground floor was used as a stable where the Mules and chickens were kept. the other part of the ground floor was a tobacco /cigarette factory. In more recent history it was the home of the village picture framer and artist wife. Since becoming the new owners the house has undergone an extensive reform and re decoration to make it a modern contemporary style property. As you enter the house there is a large welcoming entrance hallway with the facility to store bikes, walking equipment golf clubs and suitcases. There is an excellent bus service every day to the coast, where you can spend all day at the beach and to Malaga where you can explore and shop.
