The municipality of Penmarch is located at the extreme south-western tip of the traditional Pays Bigouden. From Kerity it is only a few steps on foot to the long sandy beach that stretches to the lively port of Le Guilvinec. In the evening you can admire the sunset from your balcony or from the terrace of the small harbor bar or take an evening stroll to the impressive Penmarch lighthouse. Activities nearby : The landmark of the town, the Phare d'Eckmühl is a 65 meter high lighthouse that was built at the end of the 19th century. You have to climb a total of 307 steps to get up to the lantern and enjoy the wonderful view. You can even walk to the lighthouse from your holiday home, as it is only 1.5 km away. The area around Penmarch is well-known for its floriculture, among other things. In spring, the surrounding fields shine in all colors. During the summer months there is a weekly market at the harbor every Wednesday morning.
