Our peaceful riverside boutique chambres dhôtes, nestles below the fairytale château of Jumilhac le Grand, and is set in the heart of the Périgord-Limousin Natural Regional Park. We have three beautifully renovated bed and breakfast suites available for couples looking for a special break away from it all. All of our rooms combine traditional charm with modern conveniences and feature Smart TVs, USB charging points, Wi-Fi and rainforest showers. We offer continental breakfast in our Chateau style breakfast room or in our riverside garden. Guests are free to enjoy our unique landscaped park-style garden bordering the banks of the beautiful River Isle.

Originally from England, I have lived in France for four years with my husband Mark, and we run our chambres d’hotes together. For me, the best part of being a bed and breakfast host is sharing our lovely home with our guests and seeing them enjoy the beautiful chateau town where we live. Breakfast service is always a highlight of my day when I get the chance to bake for our guests.

We are located in the quiet Croix Bancaud quarter of Jumilhac le Grand, a short walk from the impressive chateau. Surrounded by nature, our chambres d’hotes is in the centre of forest and riverside walking, hiking and biking trails. The town its self is a short walk away and offers everything you need as a visitor including a restaurant, small bar, cafe, pharmacy, convenience store, post office and lots more. With the larger town of Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche only 13km away, and the cities of Perigueux and Limoges 53km away, we are very conveniently located for all of the best events and attractions in the area.
