In the village of Sandgate, Folkestone the cottage is 3 minutes walk to the stunning beach. Please note no access to the kitchen unless agreed in advance. There is a huge flat screen tv, which has netflix snd loads of channels. Hideaway Cottage is 3 mins walk to the sea. This art filled 1800's fishermans cottage is a hidden gem off a sloped lane from the high street in Sandgate. Come and spend a tranquil time by the sea. Wonderful for a for a single person getaway, and does suit a less able bodied person as no stairs, unless going up to the kitchen (by prior arrangement) which is a different entrance. Please note there is a slope to walk up to get top the house itself! A travel cot is available too. Hand soap, toliet rolls, bath towels of a luxury quality are are provided. Kettle with tea and coffee also provided.

A wonderful freindly community, great coffee shops including Mr Whippets a few minute walk. It has cakes, pasties and the best chesse toasties! The dog house for breakfast and lunch. Also don't forget Orhard lane and loaf coffee, which also sells lunch. The Boathouse on the seafront has great views and the best Mackrel sarnies. The ship pub has a good outside area and a deck overlooking the sea. Roka has take away pizzas and icecream. Dockers and John Dory are great places to drink. There are antique shops and also lovely clothes shop and a vintage shop, with some fabulous clothes. If you walk a bit further towards Hythe on the seafront you'll get to lido bon vino for pizza and Italian food. This is a fabulous place to stay with do much to see and do. Folkestone is a bus ride of 20 minutes or 40 walking. With its old high st, shops and places to eat. The harbour arm, the lighthouse etc are brilliant food food and a seaside stroll. Plus sunny sands and the Warren great for a swim or a stroll. It's worth mentioning if you have a dog that Sandgate beach has a no dog's policy May to end Sept. But walk 500.menters to the castle and they are alowed from there.
