The Nest is a comfortable bohemian bolt hole for two. It has wooden floors, a king bed, compact en-suite bathroom with shower. Kitchenette with small fridge, single induction hob, microwave with grill. Armchairs beside a log burner or table & chairs outside beside the stream. The Nest is on the first floor of the cottage, originally the Coachman’s house. It is in a courtyard along with The Coachouse, now a family house. Rural location surrounded by trees. Off road parking in the courtyard.

We are available to offer help thorough the stay, as we live in the property. Face to face communication & mobile phones & email are the preferred forms of communication.

The Nest is in a rural location, in the scenic Towy Valley. We are positioned near the sea, mountains and Towy River. But not too off the beaten track but Individual transport is a necessity. Its ideal stay for active holidays, gardeners, cyclists, fisherfolk and walkers. Castle and beaches of Laugharne & Llansteffan ( 24 mins drive) Near the National Botanical Gardens & Aberglasney Gardens (12mins drive) Dinefwr park & castle in Llandeilo for independent shops and cafes. Brechfa Forest for mountain bike trails & Brecon Beacons for hikes The Gower and Pembrookshire an hours drive. Skanda Vale Temple (25 mins drive) Recommended for foodies, Y Polyn restaurant ( 4 mins drive) Wrights Emporium(10 mins drive) Near the county town of Carmarthen (11 mins drive) The Nest is set within a family courtyard property, beside a country lane but only 100 meters from A40 and 9mins drive from A48/M4 access. Individual transport is a necessity. There is a very infrequent bus service to Carmarthen & Llandeilo. Parking is available in a private courtyard directly out side the front door to The Nest.
