Holiday home ‘ Maison Velia ‘ The ‘ Maison Velia ‘ is situated in a delightful apartment, recently built, on the first floor of an elegant building, with elevator and porter’s lodge, in the Appio-Latin area, from which it’s easy to reach places of major artistic and archeological heritage of Rome. The apartment ( fully equipped) is near the stop “Colli Albani” of the underground line A, which crosses easily the city and allows you to reach the Basilica of St. Giovanni Lateran and St. Maria Maggiore, the Scala Santa ( Holy Stairs ), Piazza di Spagna and the Termini railway station, where there are buses to the Basilica of St. Pietro and Vatican Museums. At the entrance to the building there’s the bus stop line 87, which in 20 minutes, reaches some of the most important archaeological sites of the city, such as Colosseo, Fori Imperiali and the Pantheon. You can use a comfortable and convenient convention (only 8 euro per day) with Gym Viktory around Maison Velia (50 mt). Around the Holiday Home there’s a wide choice of shops where you can go shopping and get furnished of food of all kinds. A few steps along there’s a bookshop which sells journals as well, a travel agency, a post office, a taxi station and a pharmacy. Furthermore, for those who want to reach the city by car, there’s the possibility to hire a garage. The apartment, furnished with taste, can accommodate two to five people. It consists of a comfortable living room with fully equipped kitchenette, with microwave oven and dishwasher; two large bedrooms, and a modern bathroom with shower; free internet connection and wi-fi are also available. The Holiday Home is reachable by public transport or by car. The apartment is located two minutes from the nearest metro line A “ Colli Albani “and the terminus of several bus lines. In six underground stops you can reach the Termini train station, where the train to Fiumicino airport arrives. Ciampino airport is also well connected with buses, a short walk from the apartment, stop on the adjacent Via Appia Nuova.
