This is a brand new two bedroom house with a unique Hobbit House sleepout which can accommodate two people. The cooking and washing facilities are all in the main dwelling but the sleepout has lighting and power for charging phones. As this a new dwelling we are currently waiting for a fibre connection. However, guests can use data and wireless. The house is very warm, light and sunny. Breakfast is a Continental style. Within walking distance, there are a range of good cafes, a bar and a playground.

Julie and John have lived in the main century-old villa for 34 years. The original property was an operational dairy farm which belonged to the host's great grandmother. Both hosts are people who have traveled widely to many parts of the globe and enjoy learning about people's stories. We are retired secondary school teachers who prefer to spend time now golfing and caring for grand children.

We are located midway between Hamilton and Cambridge. The accommodation is at the end of a cul-de-sac so noise is at a minimum. It has a rural outlook but is conveniently located near many of the Waikato's top facilities. There are plenty of fabulous cafes within walking distance. The Te Awa Cycleway runs through Tamahere so keen cyclists can bike either direction along the river to Cambridge or head into Hamilton via the world renowned Rose Gardens. Cambridge is a shopper's paradise with boutique style shopping and plenty of coffee venues. The Cambridge Perry Pools (heated) are an excellent place to stop for a bit of exercise. Places nearby include -Tamahere Shopping Centre: Four Square, Bakery, Gourmet Store, Pharmacist, Doctor's surgery, and two cafes. ( 1 km) -Mystery Creek. ( 26.3 km) - Hamilton Airport: ( 6.2 km) - Cambridge (14.8 km) - Hamilton City (10.1) - Tieke Golf Course (5.8 km) -The Veladrome ( 11.7km) - Punnet Eatery and strawberry farm (1.5 km)
