The apartment has backup power connected incase of load shedding. The backup power allows for the use of lights, TV, wifi and charging of gadgets and not for high wattage appliances. E.g you cannot use the washing machine, stove, kettle, toaster or heater whilst on the backup power. There is an application called ESP that gives notifications of load shedding times that you need to install. Once it is installed on your phone or device put Strand, City of Cape Town as the area. Located on the Golden Mile beach by the ocean side, quiet, serene, 5kms of white beaches, warm waters, beautiful false bay sunsets,excellent security,beautiful views, A place to do your walk & run throughout the day, surfing school, golf course nearby, restaurants,bars, ice cream parlors along the beach road. Medical facilities and shops close by. Apartment located along the very swimmable area of beach road, on site parking, WiFi,DSTV, Netflix is also available however you must use your own account. There is also a dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble drier. The kitchen is fully equipped with 4 plate HOB, oven ,refrigerator, microwave, kettle, toaster, cooking and eating utensils, coffee plunger. Please note that parties and loud noise are not allowed. The cleaning fee paid is for checkout cleaning only. Any extra in between cleaning, towel and linen change is at R1200 per cleaning. Please note that a starter pack is provided for tissues, tea and coffee and not for the whole duration of your stay. Providing of identity documents is required before check in.

I love to travel, meeting new people and learning new cultures. There will be someone to meet you at check-in but arrangements need to be done in advance as no one stays on site.
