Great location! Staff was very nice as well. The value for money is not great but I was there during peak season. Decent breakfast and comfortable enough rooms. It kind of gives a Marriott or Budget Inn vibes with the rooms.
Daniela and Stephano were incredibly welcoming. The historic apartment building in La Spezia was atmospheric and the apartment rooms were up to date with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. It's in a great position - very close to the station for easy access to all Cinque Terre villages. Also only a 15 min stroll to the marina where the ferry and other boats are for many different expeditions. Really enjoyed our stay at Alchimia di Mare. Jan and Graeme 😊
The place is in a very convenient location, less than 10 minutes walk from the seaside walk. The indoor space is abundant, and the cleaning is spotless. Beautiful stay. Check in is at 4pm and you need to call the host to arrange to be present for your check-in and ID registration. If you are happy with that, the rest is faboulous.
The apartment was spacious, sparkly clean, nicely decorated, in a quiet and green area of La Spezia. Francesco is a super host, very welcoming and friendly and has kept in touch throughout our stay to check how we were and offer helpful recommendations. All these contributed to an excellent holiday! We are totally recommending a stay here!
Location was so good. It is next to Genoa cathedral, De Ferrari Square, Old Port, etc. Also we could go to UNESCO registered palaces on foot. Facilities, such as kitchen, were well equipped and organized that nothing was required. Lastly, host Marilin was very kind and considerate while we were staying.
Beautiful and spacious room, very nicely decorated and very clean. The bed was among the best we had in Italy. Well-kept surroundings, with many details that contribute to a pleasant stay. The view on the surrounding hills is astonishing. It is run by a young couple who were excellent hosts. We had an excellent dinner in 4 courses and very good wine. Google maps did not provide us with an accurate location, but they came to pick us up at the main road.
Our host was a lovely man and helped us with our bags up the stairs and we also checked in early which was great. The room was nice and the location great however the drains were blocked so the bathroom smelled and therefore seemed a bit dirty. Vernazza is very beautiful but there are v few hotels just rooms for rent as far as we could find. It is very very busy, if I went back to cinque terre I would just visit rather than stay there. We were however there over a weekend and did a great boat trip one afternoon.
staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I worked at the Ritz-Carlton for 5 years back in the 1980’s and the Bristol staff is as good as the Ritz was back in the day. (It was better before Marriott bought it.). The Bristol was exceptional in every way!
