We stayed here during a major wind and rain storm. The waves outside our window were amazing. Even though the hotel is on the inlet and not directly on the Atlantic Ocean, the view of the water was stunning. The room was large and very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very accommodating, especially in the midst of the storm. There were several restaurants just 2km away in a picturesque little fishing village. Galicia Spain is a seldom visited secret and the Isla de la Toja is magical.

This a new, very modern and handsome boutique hotel, family run by three sisters with their mother in the kitchen. It had only been open a month or so when we were there. Breakfast is cooked to order, beds comfortable, and the port of O Grove and restaurants just a stroll away. You need a car to visit most of the many gorgeous beaches on the peninsula. Lovely stay. I wish we could have had a few more days here.

We were so tired from the camino de santiago. You could block out the lights in this place and sleep. I mean sleep.. we slept peacefully for a very long time! We reserved this place last minute and she came running to open the doors for us. Thank you so much!

We stayed in Gamela, a couple and our adult son. The house was great, very clean and essentially as it looked on the pictures. Having a key code instead of keys was really useful.

    Super location. Easy parking right outside front door. Large room and excellent bathroom with huge ,and powerful, walk-in shower. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Attentive service. Good bar and barman mixing excellent drinks. Definitely take " mussel cruise" . Boat, wine with refills, water, Baileys type liqueur and as many mussels as you can eat in 90 mins - All for 18 Euros per head.

    We enjoyed our short stay at this outstanding hotel. The location is right on the water, the spa was terrific, the outdoor pool too, and parking was easy. The rooms were large and comfortable. The price is very reasonable. Breakfast was very very plentiful and one of the best we've encountered in our many hotel stays throughout Europe. We highly recommend this hotel. We also loved seeing the church covered with scallop shells. The island itself is also charming.
