The stay in Dar Bensouda in Fès was just lovely! Aziz from the crew of Dar Bensouda welcomed us very friendly and obliging at the parking lot and helped us to get our luggage to the hotel. Everybody was so kind and warm hearted and we enjoyed ourselves at the wonderful pool area, in the Spa area (the Haman bath is so great! Honest recommendation!) and in the beautiful room. Great dinner and breakfast as well, so we are very happy to have made the acquaintance of everybody at Dar Bensouda!
The place is comfy, beautiful but what I liked the most was how welcoming the staff was. We arrived late at night and we still got welcomed with the best smiles and bottled water. When we were waiting for our taxi, the staff offered tea and even a taste of couscous because our flight was so late. Also, just cross the nearby parking lot and you're in the most lively uphill street of Fez. I would 100% go back again to this ryad.
This Riad is very clean, and beautifully arranged. Delicious and plentiful breakfast served on the beautiful terrace overlooking the old city. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They will accommodate special requests and do everything to help you feel at home. The location is perfect. You cannot park the car right at the Riad, but staff will get your luggage and help you find the Riad from your parking lot. Staff welcomes you with tea and overview of how to get around the old city.
Large room, beautiful riad located within Fes medina, a very supportive staff Salah for everything you need from car parking, sim card, etc.
This was an absolutely beautiful Riad and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The details in the common area as well as in the roof top were wonderful to see. The location was very close to the parking lot and easy to access.
Close to the main attraction in Medina even though the small street is so confusing, but this is an excellent place to stay. Beside that we park the car in the free parking spot outside the wall but only 3 minutes walk.
There is an underground parking nearby at El Batha square, 5 minutes walking from the Riad, 30MAD per day.
The location is great for people that go by car. There are free parking lots near the place (200 metres). But it is expected to pay a fee for the people in the street guarding the car. The breakfast was really good and the staff very friendly. Our bedroom was a little bit small, but very acceptable for the price we paid.
