We loved the stylish room, delicious breakfast and amazing Spa area. All we wanted is two days away from the city and a little bit of ocean. Britz is a senior citizens paradise but the hotel appeals to all (adult) ages. Everything was very thought through and there was luxury to be had at every corner. Big kudos for the Spa Bags, the friendly staff and diverse breakfast options.

Hotel is in an excellent location, next to the promenade and the beach. Room had good size balcony overlooking the promenade/beach/Baltic Sea with comfortable chairs and cushions and a small sitting area, safe and tiny refrigerator (but good to have had it). Free bottle of water. Dedicated parking space nearby (12 euro/day extra). Very friendly staff at in-house restaurant and reception (in the restaurant). Most excellent breakfast buffet I have ever had with lots of choices (made-to-order eggs, eggs Benedict, cold cuts, cheeses, cereal, fish, fruit, rolls, bread, cake and much more). Restaurant has really excellent dishes for lunch and dinner, especially fresh fish. Highly recommend it!

The location was perfect, at the top of the hill, away from the main strip and arguably the most beautiful hotel in the area. There were lots of great walking trails from there, boat trips and a steam railway, all nearby. The hotel is quiet, newly renovated and very clean, yet retains some of the old charm, with excellent service. The breakfast was delicious, changing slightly every day and using local ingredients, specifically the diary, which was very good. There was also always a tasty vegan option, as well as fish, cheese and meats. The staff were extremely friendly, professional and accommodating to our every need. We dined in one night and the food was great. We also booked a time slot in the sauna, which was very nice. The bathroom in the room was big and spacious. The cleaning staff were extremely friendly and did a great job cleaning the room each day, leaving it in a really welcoming way. This hotel certainly has a family-run warmth to it, which runs through all the staff and attention to detail within the hotel, yet remains extremely discrete and professional on a service level. Would highly recommend.

    The location is perfect. The breakfast is great, huge and delicious. The location is well suited to visit the promenade or the beach. There are a lot of details which will light up your stay.. Unfortunately, my girlfriend and I were sick these days. Thus, we couldn't join the wellness and spa area, but we got a little sneak preview aaaaand didn't really miss something. The staff and the relation between each other was most impressive. It's amazing how they value and help each other. 10/10 points

    The town is very beautiful - nature, architecture, the beach. It's just exceptional, so many places to enjoy! Restaurants are very expensive and the food is either mediocre or really bad. If you really like good food, I'd recommend purchasing products in supermarket and cook at home. Little fish shops with smoked fish is the best food this place has to offer in my opinion.

    It's cute, tucked away from main tourism. But plenty to do in terms of nature (Nature reserve Jasmund) and also the habour offers quite a number of attractions from sight seeing ship tours to a submarine museum.

    Sellin is a beautiful place that really offers a lot of possibilities - cycling tours, walking tours, boat trips, swimming - an ideal place to get to know the south-eastern part of Rugen perfectly without having to use a car

    Beautiful nature, natural beaches with fine sand, but also rocky beaches with beautiful stones, opportunities for trips to Jasmund Nature Park or Hiddensee Island. There are few people here. A great place!

    If you are looking for a peacful place with no many people...

    If you are looking for a peacful place with no many people it is the place for you. It is very small town with one restaurant, one coffee shop. Market is 4 km from the town but there are many cycle paths so there is no problem at all. There are beautifull beaches but there is a problem with dark algae, so if you want to sunbathe you need to cross those algae first. After few days in Breege I am totally relaxed.

    Binz is a lovely little seaside town, we love the fischbrotchen and cycling culture. You can get around on foot easily, the beach is well divided and organized, and you can get around by bus or train. Clean public restrooms are everywhere. Dont come for party life, but definitely for relax, no matter the weather. Dont forget to add lunch at Karls Erdbeerhof to your Rugen bucket list.

    Sassnitz was a lively, coastal holiday town with beautiful, large villas. The beech wood had lots of trails and was pretty but the chalk cliffs were spectacular along with the colour of the Baltic Sea. There is a small zoo which is very new with not many animals but the silver fox was exceptionally handsome.

A small, picturesque community spanning 20.79 km², it is home to a modest population of 1,127 (as of March 2019). Nestled 3.0 meters above sea level, Dranske offers breathtaking views, including the cliffs of the Danish island Møn on clear days. Dranske's rich history adds to its appeal. First mentioned in 1314 in a list of prince's taxes collected by a Brunswick knight, Dranske has a history that intertwines with the broader Rügen Island. The district of Nonnevitz was even documented earlier in 1193 when Jaromar I, Prince of Rügen, donated it to the Cistercian Monastery in Bergen. Today, Dranske is a testament to the island's historical richness and natural beauty. It's a fantastic place to unwind, explore, and get a taste of the idyllic Rügen life. I highly recommend a visit!     Breege is a quiet fishing village, makes a great base to explore the area. I am not sure how full it gets in summer as there are many holiday homes around. I would stay in Breege again. I'd say it's more for families and peoples who don't seek partying. The area is good for a beach holiday, fishing, boating, cycling, hiking and watersports. Breege- Juliusruh is smaller than the other resorts on Rügen and by accounts from others doesnt get overcrowded in the summer months.
