Loved how relaxed the pace of life was. A highpoint was the availability of good inexpensive food. For an excellent quality restaurant, el cafetal was great! The beach and ocean views from our hotel were the best. We loved snorkeling at Concha Perla. We enjoyed the different activities and places to visit in Isabela, I think the Sierra Negra Volcano, and the tintoreras tour are the best. Taxis used to charge much more than in Santa Cruz since they charge by people, not by ride.Guest review byJuanEcuador - 10.0

It’s probably one of the best places in the world (and I traveled to 60+ countries). Definitely for travelers who like wild life, not for parties. I enjoyed beach walks, hikes, tours to the nature (volcanos, snorkeling, seeing penguins and sea lions, giant turtles). There are few restaurants on the beach but I also tried some local places where for 3,5$ you can get a delicious meal with grilled shrimps and rice!Guest review byNataliaUnited States
