I originally booked a different hotel, but after reading reviews I decided to change to Copaiba and I have no regrets. The room was modern, clean, and the staff was very nice. I really enjoyed the long brunch/breakfast. The location is close to the beach and various restaurants. The area is very German, so just be prepared for that (I personally don't care and it still surprised me).

A firm favorite among sun-seekers, Majorca (or Mallorca) is the largest Balearic Island. Palma, the enchanting capital, has a grand cathedral overlooking the harbor, a 14th-century castle and Arab baths, to name just a few highlights. Nearby is Palma Nova, home to lots of Majorca hotels on the beach within easy reach of the fantastic nightlife in Magaluf. Further along are calmer Santa Ponsa and Port d’Andratx. In the opposite direction, S’Arenal has a fantastic, palm-lined beach and quick airport shuttle rides. On the north side of the island, the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Serra de Tramuntana range features amazing mountain lakes. A trip to its highest peak, Puig Major, will provide breathtaking views. Down below is Port de Soller, a lovely town with some excellent Majorca hotels for families. Other popular family resorts include Alcudia with its long sandy beach, and neighboring Port de Pollenca. Ruins of the Roman town of Pollentia are nearby. In the east, Cala Ratjada benefits from 2 beautiful coastlines, while the beaches at Cala Bona and Cala Millor certainly live up to their names – Good and Best. Cala d’Or (Golden Cove) is another aptly named resort: its golden, sandy beach is nestled between rocks lapped by turquoise waters.     The location with a garden so beautifully kept. All the staff were happy, positive and always helpful, Excellent range of foods..amazing selection to suit any diet or nationality. Seating on the outside patio under the sails and palm trees looking over to the pool was my favourite dining experience. I have had a wonderful holiday I was on my own but never lonely.. Everything had been given so much thought to thanks to management and staff.

    Really close to the beach, had a nice swimming pool, with freezing water (quite nice after a few minutes in). Room was good, and breakfast was also really good. Large selection of food available. And really close to main streets in the area. Who wants to have a quiet location to spend some nice time under the sun, take some nice walks by the sea shore and enjoy a nice view and a clean water, this is the place to be.

    A beautiful city, a must to visit. Wonderful architecture and interesting shops. A lovely department store. The cathedral is magnificent. We had a lovely day trip into the mountains. We also visited the Miro gallery and museum. There are frequent buses and taxis are quite cheap. Plenty of nice restaurants.

    Not my favourite area of Mallorca.

    Not my favourite area of Mallorca. It feels a bit lads holiday/staggy with kebab shops, tattoo shops and fish pedicure bars everywhere, and there are some unsavoury characters selling 'items' on the promenade who approach you, which I hadn't seen anywhere else on the island. We were there as an adult couple, but wouldn't be bringing children here in future. The plusses are the proximity to the airport (although it's probably an hour by public transport to Palma city itself). The beaches are clean, and it is reasonably priced to eat and drink in this area. But I wouldn't come back - there are far nicer spots elsewhere.

    Terrible experience, I booked a room for four people, I found four beds, but one was completely broken, when I complained about this to the receptionist, she asked me to put the mattress in the floor, after that I asked for a refund, but the management ignored me completely.

    Magaluf is a great destination for those who enjoy nightlife and clubbing – there are plenty of bars and clubs to choose from, offering something for everyone. You'll also find large supermarkets and a wide variety of good restaurants. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for a romantic getaway, as it's more lively and party-oriented. It’s a convenient base for exploring the southern part of Mallorca and is close to Palma. Renting a car on the island is easy and can be done at affordable prices.

    The neighborhood of the hotel is quite calm and not so loud as it resides the north part of playa de Palma. the south part is more busy with loud tourist, but at midnight all loud public music is turned off.

    Typical Spanish tourist town. Plenty of good bars and restaurants, some with live music. Would of like it to be a bit more boutique'y and a little less Spanish/British bucket and spade. So not a lot to see, unless you like these very typical Spanish beach resorts. But overall good for a short break.

    It really depends what you want from your vacation. I would stay again, but now I know what to expect. It doesn’t have that “local” feel, it is much more touristic. But it’s a good and affordable base to explore other areas of Mallorca. I would definitely recommend for families and also for people who enjoy night live. If you’re not too fussed by the surroundings and just want an area to sleep, but venture to other places, then this is also definitely a good area

    The Cala d’Or resort is a lovely resort….

    The Cala d’Or resort is a lovely resort…. It has lovely bars and restaurants… the marina is incredible with amazing views from the terrace of restaurants.. we had incredible meals for both lunch and dinner and really enjoyed our wine… overall a wonderful short break.

    We didn’t realise before we booked that Santa Ponsa is...

    We didn’t realise before we booked that Santa Ponsa is popular with groups of boys and girls on party holidays. It’s such a short trip to Magaluf that they seem to stay in Santa Ponsa and get a cab into Magaluf. Because of this a lot of bars are very busy and geared towards groups of young lads/girls. We didn’t find it a major issue however one to bear in mind for a family holiday.
