In Madikeri, most of the attractions are close to each other...
In Madikeri, most of the attractions are close to each other and it is easy to go around if you hire a rick, car or even a two wheeler; one can visit Abbey Falls, Madikeri Fort, Museum, Raja's tomb, Sunnyside Museum and Raja's Seat in a day itself and Mandalpatti Trek only by jeep but early morning by 5am. You can eat at Coorg cuisine, a good place specially for non-vegetarian food. In coorg, there is also Zipline, check prior visiting one at Abbey Falls & other at Raja's Seat. We also got a chance to experience fire-flies before leaving Coorg near our bus stop of Sea-bird travellers.Guest review byMadhuri - 6.0

The place is very centrally located and one can easily walk upto grocery stores and restaurants. The free parking offered is on a public road! Closets were completely inadequate and contained many of the owners personal belongings. The place was completely airless when we arrived and we had to open up the windows several of which were stuck because of paint. The bedroom facing the road and other houses had flimsy curtains that don’t offer privacy. Still for the location,the place is affordable but better suited to students and backpackers than families. Wonderful place, but the weather was not as we expected.
Wonderful place, but the weather was not as we expected. It was too hot and humid instead of typical Coorg weather. However, the town had a lot of spices and home made products for us to shop and take back home. The place was pleasant with nature, birds, and other stuff.Guest review bySantosh
