I found Ikeja GRA to be a very interesting place to stay. majority of the internal roads have recently been worked on. There are several great places to eat good food if that's your thing. For those who like to do outdoor exercise, the GRA provides very safe environment free from harassment of any form. I took very long walks from my hotel both day and night without any disturbance. Lekki is always a very nice place to visit, be at or live in. But casa Eko, the apartment I stayed in at Royal Garden Estate is indeed home away from home. The experience was unforgettable. I enjoy the apartment. There is a very good security in place around the apartment. It is a beautiful place to stay. The workers are polite and helpful at all times. I will love to stay there again whenever I go to Nigeria. It is very close to Mega Chicken , where I eat most of the time. It is also close to banks and shopping complexes in Ikeja. I love Lagos.
I love Lagos. It is an Interesting and Hospitable City, but the heavy Traffic is what I dislike about the city. You need to leave home several hours before to avoid missing an appointment. The morning of your booking they contact you over the phone and say that you have to pay now to keep your reservation and that your room is not available but they upgraded you and its gonna cost you more. I had a great stay at this apartment! The location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk from the subway and close to several nice cafes. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and reliable Wi-Fi. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was modern with plenty of towels.
