The hotel is located right on the sand dunes facing both the beach and the forest behind. Facilities including the rooms are recently updated. There are still some indications that this hotel has been here for a long time entertaining beachside holiday makers, but that in my opinion adds to its charm. Staff were very friendly. Pool and wellness areas were very nice additions especially on a rainy winters day. The sauna's were really large, with plenty of room to soak up the heat.

Located a 5-minute walk away from the ferry service, Het Vlielandhotel is located on Vlieland and has free WiFi access available. Rooms here come with a private bathroom.

We love all about the property but of course we understand that it’s summer now so always ask for a room not exposed whole day with sun rays and plus we didn’t get the one balcony so better get a room with balcony especially if it’s summer to reduce the heat .

The location is great. Middle of it all.. Room with a Seaview is the best! Loved it. Peaceful to wake up to that or sit at the balcony with the sun. Staff are super friendly and professional. Always helpful and welcoming. Nice that next to the hotel, there is a bar where you can have some drinks and fun before going to bed. The breakfast buffet was also good and with variety. In overall, a great place to stay when visiting lovely Vlieland.

Of course you will enjoy your time on Vlieland, relax and get a breath of fresh air. That's possible in centrally located Loods Hotel Vlieland.
