Very clean apartment in a nice quiet area of town . The host was extremely helpful and accommodating. Nice balcony to watch the comings and goings in the street. There's a 7eleven store across the road and facilities for self service laundry (only 20thb). Great value accommodation. Recommended.

Old world charm in the middle of town. Nice size rooms and a comfy bed. Good selection at breakfast with the main dish changing each day. Staff were excellent. It was our second visit and hopefully not our last.

The sunrise is breathtaking and the sunset while sitting in a tub on your balcony is very relaxing! The restaurant cooks very flavorful northern Thai dishes and serves amazing refreshing cocktails! The Hills Tribe Cafe nearby belongs to the same owner and is an extra bonus to your trip! Must visit!!!

    My stay at The Space Hotel Chiang Rai was comfortable and convenient. The location is excellent—just minutes by taxi from the Blue Temple, CentralPlaza Mall, and the Night Bazaar.     Staff very nice, service mind .. the room is big. Everywhere in the hotel very beautiful good for photo shoot. The river view is amazing..     We loved the slower pace of Chiang Rai, being smaller meant it was easier to walk to local landmarks. Walking street on Saturday is a must, it is an amazing market that goes for miles. Unfortunately the paving and foot paths are not maintained very well so caution is needed while walking. The clock tower light show every night at 7,8 and 9pm was a disappointment. I was expecting lots of colours and music but no, very overrated. Temple tours are a must.

    I ❤️ Mae Salong.

    I ❤️ Mae Salong. The clean crisp air and many local ethnic groups make this a great place to visit Love staying at Shin Sane GH or Little House GH. Each still offer great prices for cottages and Shin Sane still has the original rooms from wooden house and at a shoestring price for this region Love eating at Yunnan noodles down the road a bit past 7 Eleven and Salima’s. There’s a pure veg place heading towards the cathothic school nearby.

    I didn't go around the full Ban Pa Toem area, but the area around The Northern MFU was full of food places. I never had to worry about going hungry. The people were also very kind. The area seems safe enough. There was also a 7-11 nearby. The hotel was only a 10-minute walk to the gate of Mae Fah Luang University.

    The hotel is value for money. Clean and tidy rooms. I was in a double bed room with a co-joined 2 single beds room. Perfect for family. Staff were very helpful with an on arrival last minute room request.

    Chiang Khong, a lovely little town next to the river. Views are amazing and the food is good. It is not very big so staying for an extended time may be dull for some. Great for relaxing and quiet. Excellent for walking and/or riding bicycles.

    Acceptable for one night.

    Acceptable for one night. You need a car to get to the hotel. The rooms are not soundproof. Quite loud from the traffic. The hotel is located directly on the main street. The breakfast is not bad and with good coffee to make yourself with a coffee machine.

    A good location to connect if Golden triangle is part of the trip just 50 mins from Chiangrai. Also a good connection if travel from Chiangmai. In Chiangrai there are so many 1-day side trips like Doi Chang and many.

    I liked to have riverview.

    I liked to have riverview. We had two single beds that we rearranged such that they were mire close to eachother. Not perfect but ok. For one person the bed was too hard, for the other it was good. Was great to be on the (small) balcony to look at the river, but there were no seats. I used the pool, but at the time of the day the two high building on the side avoided all sunshine to warm up the water. We also had to use our own towels from the room, one per person. Checkout was fast without checking the room. Few hours after we left, we were in Chiang Rai already, staff called us that they we left behind a watch. They agreed to send it to our home in Chiang Mai. Great service that we really appreciate.
